At our wedding, our photographer said that my expression upon seeing our dessert table was almost better than walking down the aisle! That should tell you something about The Sweet Praxis. I knew what Natalie created would be delicious and beautiful. But I was completely unprepared for the sight that was waiting for me at our reception! For a day that was quickly flying by, I spent far too long lingering at the table, trying to savor the sight of those artistic confections. I couldn’t believe how fortunate we were. Each one was beautiful in its own way – the colors, textures, and flavors each expertly balanced. All decorated with delicate, elegant edible flowers! Quite literally one of the highlights of the whole day. Now, when the topic of the wedding resurfaces, it is often because people are reminiscing on those delectable treats. Natalie very kindly worked with us to incorporate our family’s traditions and preferences. She flawlessly brought our unique vision to life. I will never forget what she did for us, and only wish I could bottle up that experience and keep it forever!

I LOVE The Sweet Praxis all the time, but they were phenomenal for my wedding in 2020!
My husband and I wanted something a little non-traditional for our wedding, and Sweet Praxis worked with us to get the perfect desserts for our small ceremony/celebration. They made us a small, multi-tiered cookie cake (the first cookie cake they said they’d ever made), as well as an assortment of other cookies and cookie-wiches. Everything was perfect and delicious, and the whole process went smoothly. We also paid to have everything delivered and set-up, and it was beyond worth it.

The Sweet Praxis is our favorite bakery in Syracuse. We recently hired them to make the dessert for our wedding, and both the cake and our mini desserts came out beautifully! Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. Natalie, one of the owners, was super communicative and absolutely wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!!

This is our favorite to go place on weekends. They have a different level of baking and provide great range of bakery items with vegan options. They have amazing lattes with seasonal special flavors. Undoubtedly the best cafe in town!!!

Hands down the best bakery in Syracuse. They have my favorite croissants next to the ones I’ve had at tartine bakery in San Francisco. Love getting sweet treats from here. Could not give this place more praise, bravo. This place is a gem in the salt city.

Used them for my wedding cake and dessert table and they were AMAZING. Super easy to work with, accomodated everything we wanted and were able to make the desserts accomodate all of our dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegan, and nut allergy were the big ones). The cake turned out so much more beautiful than I imagined and everything tasted sooo good! We didn’t have anything left over because we put out boxes for guests to take some home and they did with no hesitation! so if you use them for your wedding make sure you set things aside for you to eat!! I could not be happier with how everything turned out!

If you’re on a road trip on I-90, make a pit stop at The Sweet Praxis, this delightful bakery. Downtown Syracuse is not that far from I-90, and we were so glad to stumble upon this place on our long road trip up North. Freshly baked scratch made bakery, with a nice range of baked goods – donuts, muffins, cinnamon buns, and many more. A must stop!

This is one of my favorite spots in all of Central New York. Everything that I have had has been excellent, and both the in-store experience and the online ordering are well executed. Expect popular items to sell out. The curbside experience is fantastic; fast, friendly, and easy to manage. Recommend everything about this place. The gift cards are reloadable, and easy to use both in store and online. The staff are great. No negatives at all!

Hit or miss. They have some good ideas in theory but poor execution. We’ve ordered some great GF/V treats in the past and also ordered some fails. Most recently was the flop on their pumpkin pie, the best part was the frosting around the crust. With 22 people, it didn’t even get half eaten. I will take the time to make my own next time. Super disappointed.

This café is so much fun! The food is delicious, the staff are so kind, and the atmosphere is cheerful. We had a gluten-free breakfast sandwich. It was phenomenal. I could hardly tell it was gluten-free. The various coffee/tea drinks are made fresh and the coffee is hot (unless you want iced, of course ) They have a wide assortment of baked goods too. Bottom line, Sweet Praxis is well worth the visit.
