Amongst the customer favorites are the potato donut, sour cream, blueberry, chocolate glazed, apple fritter and bow tie. The customer service gets rave reviews too, and the prices are very reasonable.

The shop opens for takeout only for six days a week, from Tuesday to Sunday. Opening hours are 5am to 11.30am – but make sure you get there early for the best selection. This is a popular spot, and they can sell out fast.

The Donut Shack is a great place to pick up some classic donuts. You’ll also find other pastries, like muffins, cookies and “Shack tarts”. And there’s good quality coffee from Ceremony Coffee Roasters.

But it’s the donuts, made fresh daily, that are the star of the show. The range covers all the classics, although the options on offer vary day to day. The full menu includes old fashioned plain donuts, apple or Dutch crumb, fudgy, lemon and Boston Cream.

You can always get hold of some delicious donut holes too. Buy your donuts individually, or get a discount on a box of a half-dozen or dozen.

The shop is open daily for dine in or takeout, from 6 in the morning to 8 at night. Or you can get your donuts delivered to your door from 7am to 10am on the weekends.

Everything is made fresh, and the donut sizes are generous. Expect light, fluffy textures and flavors like strawberry glazed, maple, marshmallow and apple. Check out the potato donut too – it gets excellent reviews from customers.

Make sure you get there early, as they often sell out. And note that only cash is accepted here. If you’re catering a larger event, get in touch – they can do big orders with advance notice.
