The shop on 15th Avenue South-West is open from 8am to 2pm Wednesday through Sunday. Pre-order online for collection the same day. Note, though, that they don’t deliver, and there’s no dine-in option.

French crullers are the specials on Wednesdays, while applesauce is the donut du jour on Fridays. And every day of the week you’ll find Persian, Old Fashioneds, bismarks, bars, twists, glazed and raised donuts.

The store is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 7.30am to 3pm.

It’s a Philippine bakery, and that heritage is reflected in the menu. As well as a host of classic donuts and pastries, you’ll find exciting options from the other side of the Pacific. Everything is fresh and delicious, prices are very reasonable, and the service is excellent too.

It’s open from 7.15am to 6.30pm from Monday to Friday, and from 7.15am to 6pm on Saturdays. Note that it’s strictly take-out only.

Dough Joy is a vegan paradise, with every donut strictly plant-based. You can buy their wares at a donut truck on 17th Avenue North-West. There’s also a bricks and mortar store on Pike Street, on Capitol Hill.

Both offer a great range of donuts with creative toppings. Weekly specials are announced regularly via social media. Current options include a reversed Cookies and Cream with chocolate icing and vanilla cookies, Strawberry Milkshake and the Basic B, a simple glazed donut.

The truck opens its shutters at 9am and keeps trading until 1pm – or earlier if sold out. The Pike Street shop opens an hour earlier and closes at 2pm. It too will shut early if the last donuts have gone before then.

Head to the town of Hillman, Seattle, and you’ll find the small bakery by the name of The Flour Box. The specialty here is brioche donuts, handmade from scratch daily. There’s also a great selection of locally roasted coffees.

The emphasis is on premium, locally-sourced ingredients. You won’t find any preservatives, softeners or stabilizers in these donuts. And the creative flavor combinations reflect the diversity of Seattle, with influences from around the world.

You can order for take-out or to eat in. But note that it’s strictly first come, first served – so get there early! It’s open from Thursday to Sunday, from 10am until 1pm – or earlier if they sell out.
