Real Honey. Real Honey. REAL. First time customer, on my way to a restaurant fave in the area. The “mature” woman at the window was so friendly and when she said they use real Amber honey, I couldn’t rip my credit card out my wallet fast enough. Also ordered a powdered sugar. The consistency of the donuts is very unique. Soft and slightly cakey. Very much melt in your mouth. They were both marvelous. REAL HONEY!

What’s better than a donut? Easy. A donut made to order! Piping hot donuts available in limited flavors daily. On this day I enjoyed three flavors: cinnamon sugar, vanilla iced and. plain. All three were hot and sweet but that vanilla was something special!

The donuts were so yummy! The only reason it’s not 5 star is because we got some coffee and something about it tasted off. As long as you’re not going here for coffee then you’re good. The donuts were worth it!

Yummy yumm yumm! This lil gem in the heart of NODA is the perfect little treat after grabbing dinner from one of the many restaurants nearby. They always feature a seasonal one and today was strawberry shortcake. Was so good. Donuts are made fresh to order. Highly recommend.

One of the best doughnuts I’ve ever had!! The fact that they are made to order is such a highlight! We ordered a box of six and were hoping to save some to bring home but couldn’t stop eating them. Can’t wait to come back to NC to have them again!

Amazing (literal) hole in the wall. The donuts are delightful and made to order. This is a can’t miss spot when bumming around NoDa. It’s a walk up window, there are a couple of picnic tables available if that’s your thing. Don’t forget to grab a treat for the doggies while you’re here!!

OH MY GOD!!! I will admit that seeing them prepare my donut on the spot got me skeptical of its quality, but boy was I naive. The donut was everything and more than I could have wanted. It was in my hand one second and gone the next. My biggest regret was not ordering more! I cannot tell you enough how good the donut was, but the best way to find out is to try this cool place out.

This is definitely a place you should stop for dessert. I don’t hear a lot of people talk about this place after a year and half of Charlotte living and I don’t understand why, this place was fantastic.
I usually take a pass when it comes to donuts, but these ones are worth the calories. This place is a LITERAL hole in the wall, the donuts are fresh, warm, soft on the inside, and slightly crisp on the outside. Added bonus: the staff was so nice and bubbly, plus the prices are modest.

Hello you beautiful person. I’m just going to start by saying that I personally don’t enjoy doughnuts that much but these were freakin’ delicious and have made me realize that there are indeed good doughnuts in the world. Reigning Doughnuts is a little, warm hole in the wall located in the NODA area of Charlotte. Your doughnuts are made to order, they will ALWAYS be fresh (so expect a short wait). I tried the Honey Glazed doughnut and the Cream Cheese & Blueberry doughnut. The Honey Glazed was okay, but the CC&B literally made me jazz for joy. So soft, fluffy, fresh, and firm. The only thing that sucks is the CC&B isn’t available everyday since that’s the doughnut for the day on Wednesday’s… so do take note that there’s a speciality doughnut based on the day. Ugh, I would’ve eaten more but I wouldn’t have been able to fit my pants… Also, the two people serving there were friendly and answered all of my questions.

Dozen (12) doughnuts: $16.00 + tax
Seriously, stop living through my posts and go try one. You won’t regret it.
