Nana’s Daylight Donuts Reviews

I’m not much of a donut eater, but the donuts here are pretty good. My coworkers seem to love them, as they constantly ask me to bring them some. They have a pretty decent selection with some creative varieties mixed in there. But you’ll want to get there early, otherwise the selection will be pretty limited. The staff are always friendly and patient. Someday, I need to give their coffee a try.

When our hotel didn’t have breakfast until 7, we thought we would try Nana’s daylight donuts. Service was friendly and prompt. Business was clean. And Donuts are delicious. Inside was decorated very cute. And my hot mocha hit the spot. Definitely would recommend!

My family was greeted by a friendly staff. There were lots of choices of both yeast and cake donuts when we arrived at 7am. My wife loved the Glazed Donuts, and my son devoured his Oreo and Reese’s Pieces Donuts. I enjoyed the Maple Bacon Bismarck because it was both smoky and savory from the bacon and sweet from the Maple Glaze, and the fresh yeast donut made this a real treat. The best of all is the Apple Fritter. It truly is the best one I have ever had. Crispy with lots of apples and cinnamon, and the right amount of glaze. Next time I will try the Cherry Fritter.

We absolutely loved Daylight Donuts when they first opened. The variety and quality were top notch. We would stop there on the way to school and it was always a hit with the kids.

Ever since the ownership change, the quality has gone way down and there is hardly close to the variety they had before. My kids love sprinkles on their donuts and the amount of sprinkles they use now is very minimal compared to what they had before. It seems like the new ownership is doing what they can to keep cost down and cut corners. That’s a great way to lose business and unfortunately, they just lost mine.

The only positive I will say is that the staff is always friendly and wonderful with my kids when we all come in.

Nana’s donuts are the families favorite donuts in the local area. The staff are always super friendly and helpful, plenty of options to choose from in the store.

Cannot say enough about this place! Their donuts are one of the best around. We’ve always had great experiences whether we’ve dined in or DoorDashed! Even got a free half dozen with our order one day. Definitely a place we’ll continue to do business with!

These donuts are amazing. They brought them to work today and I think I’ll be in sometime to get some of my own. Best Yeast donut with a glaze that I’ve ever had and can’t wait to try the others.

We got apple fritters when they first opened and they were great. We got them this morning… don’t even look the same we’re not even eatable.

Nanas daylight donuts is right on the roundabout at worthsville road. It’s a very neat and clean donut shop with friendly and helpful staff. They also have drive-through so you can grab amazing donuts on the fly. They have variety of donut and they are fresh and really good. A must try place if you have not visited this place.

It appears the shop is under new management. I’ve visited several times before considering this updated review.
Most of the elements at this location have suffered drastically.

As a few other reviews have pointed out, the size and quality just aren’t there anymore. The price points on their selection don’t reflect what you’re getting at all. The bismarks aren’t filled consistently. Often times they’re barely filled at all. The fritters are thin and depressing. I would rather buy Kroger bakery fritters, for the price and quality offered.

As my last attempt at this location, I stopped in this morning. Saturday at 6:10am they’re closed. The lights were low, the kitchen lights were out. Ended up across town at Rise and Roll.
