Food was wonderful, everything was clean, but the service was outstanding!
There were even a few gluten free options (did not discuss if they were celiac safe, as my husband was not with us.) The chocolate coconut bear claw was so light and flaky my daughter ate it in layers. Definitely worth a stop for tasty treats or a meal!

Loved this cute cafe. We had lunch here and both ate hand pies which were delicious! We also had cookies and bought baked goods for breakfast the next day. All of it was awesome!

The smashed chickpea sandwich is in the top 5 sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. The chickpea and dill combo was delicious, the bread had a crunch on the outside and was soft inside. The flavors combined magnificently. I only wish I’d had a chance to try some of the desserts!

This place is amazing! I found Gracious Bakery after an aerial class at Crescent City Aerial Arts nearby. The bacon, egg and cheese biscuit with pesto is to die for. The banana nut bread is so moist (sorry, I know that’s a gross word lol). I just got a blueberry cream cheese turnover to-go so I’ll have to update on how that is. The iced caramel latte is also delicious! Shanice is so kind and welcoming. We come back most of the time just to see her! Gracious also appears to be LGBTQ+ friendly with a NOLA pride flag inside.

Staff go above and beyond here and I’ve never made a visit to gracious without being blown away by at least one of the tasty treats they have on display. Please go and order at least a couple things you wouldn’t normally and you will not be disappointed.

I was very disappointed in this experence. My wife and I came in around 12:30 on a Monday. I ordered the antipasto sandwich with chips. The chips were obviously the end of the bag because they were mostly crumbs. The real disappointing factor for me was the baguette used for the sandwich. It was so hard it was inedible. The second picture is what is left of the food that I could not eat. We also got a creme puff, a mini almond pound cake and a chocolate cupcake. The creme puff was still a little frozen and was soggy on the bottom. The almond pound cake was nice, it was dense and the almond flavor was nice. The cupcake was flavorless a bit dry and freezer burnt. I find this confusing because they had a basket on the counter that said “day olds”. I’m not sure why they sell “day olds” at a discount if nothing in their bakery is fresh made. Over all the counter help was very pleasant and the store was clean and bright looking with a casual welcoming atmosphere.

Cute place. Nice outdoor area. But why put a form molded egg white onto a delicious fried biscuit with cheese? Not impressed by the food at all.

If I workes in the office building where Gracious is located, I’d have to pace myself beacuse everything we had here was delicious! Check out the praline pastries and grab a couple of still delicious day-old treats on you way out.
