As my grandma, that has lived her entire life on the west bank, describes it “the bakery that has been there forever on the Parkway, they have the best donuts”. They did not disappoint. The cream donuts are scrumptious, but nothing beats a traditional glazed donut.

I been going to this place for over 15 years but never had an experience like this. So I ask for a box of coffee the lady seems like it’s the first time she does one, she had her fingers all in the top trying to pull it out not knowing how to assemble it , scratching her head OMG it was disgusting. Review the cameras if you think I’m making this up. 9/21/2022 @ 10:30ish , I don’t want to stop coming here but I’m disappointed and disgusted…

Delish. I have family that has come here for years. Those hot glazed doughnuts are quite possibly the best I have ever eaten. We also had the hot breakfast and it was very good.

Remember the donuts that you got growing up? That’s what you get here. Most of the time, hot glazed donuts are available but even if they aren’t, the donuts are still delicious! Apple fritters amazing and they actually have apple chunks in them. Don’t pass this place up!

Holy fuk this place is great I’ve gotten donuts so many times, and I’ve also gotten the chicken strips and French fries and cheese fries and bacon omg and the sliders aren’t bad. The service can be a little sketchy but they don’t do that bad for a small donut shop on the corner. Pretty solid.

I normally rate Terrytown Donates five stars but made it only four stars this time because I asked for ‘Hot Glazed’ and received cold donuts from the day before. I was there a bit before 0600 hours to get donuts for the voting precinct workers where I am the CIC… They were not bad and most were eaten but do not tell me ‘hot glazed’ when they are cold day old…

A great little cafe with loyal local customers that have been coming here for decades. This gem is hidden away in the heart of Terrytown and, though I normally order just donuts, offers meals as well. The cafe is always clean & the staff is normally very nice. I remember that Terrytown Cafe & Donuts was the first local food service business to open after Katrina and it was a welcome sight!

They post that they open at 5am……not so! Waited until 5 after 5 and nobody came to unlock the door. Was on the way to work and did not have time to wait.
