In short:
If you want a tasty donut like one in the photo then find a chance and go.
For the maple bacon: made very quickly, fat trimmed off the bacon, and one of if not the best donuts I’ve had. It was like breakfast in the shape of a donut (minus the eggs).

I am gonna give it a 4, but could argue its a 3. I didn’t really enjoy it because of the batter used for the donuts. I prefer a dunking style donut, but these tasted more like a funnel cake batter. But the people I brought really like the place and were shocked on how good the donuts were. So Idk what to make of the place. Give it a shot.

Warm, delicious. Flavors change all the time, but are always able to get your favorites. I had these first in Duck and am so glad I can have a piece of the Outer Banks, whenever I want.

Love the hot and fresh idea because they’re made to order. VERY expensive but worth to go once in a blue moon. They have something for everyone. Coffee is decent as well, although simple.

This duck donuts is mediocre unless you’re ordering coffee and breakfast sandwiches… then the experience will make you want to shave your head and give up donuts forever. Be prepared to wait 20-30 minutes even with 5 or so people there. Also be prepared to have to ask a manager for each part of your order because no one is working on the donuts, sandwiches, OR coffee. Your order will be lost in the nether. You have to beg to get your order completed. Best of luck

This is beyond thee most sloppy donuts, I have ever seen. Extremely tooooo much Icing . This presentation is horrible. Totally not customer satisfaction. I am very disappointed.

These are so good! This place was clean and there were so many options. We’ve been eating these donuts in OBX for over a decade and I’m so excited there are some closer to home now! The maple bacon donuts are the best! All of them are better eaten hot, but they’re all good!

Sincerely, Good luck with staffing and training local mgmt, employees. It can be challenging these days. Awful today. 30+ minutes for a dozen + they forgot the sandwich; started on it after giving me the donuts. Café Mocha was bad/wrong? All was sloppy and soggy. It has been a good place in the past and we agree with 5 stars in years past.

Krispy Kreme is better still. Yeah a warm donut can’t hold up against heavy toppings but if you want a tiny funnel cake with toppings experience then this is your place.
