Takes a really long time to make food. Donuts are really good if fresh. They have really good breakfast food and wings.

Donuts old as hell!!! I went back and the manager still gave me stale donuts!! We’re cold and stiff. They cooking them donuts 3 or 4 days in advance just sad !! I can go to a corner store that has fresher donuts.. DONOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE OLD DONUTS !! I post a picture and you can see how the sugar is on them ‍♀️ ‍♀️

I ordered two twist donuts and two cake donuts. As I drove down Claiborne Avenue the bags were cold as if taken from the fridge to the bag. I was so disappointed as I made special trip to try this donut shop. Never, ever again! Will not recommend to anyone. Fresh means hot or at least warm. The glaze was gummy. Threw into the trash as soon as I arrived home.

The city burger can’t miss.
Hot sausage on donut with cheese…
Sheesh. Everytime I’m in town I have to stop in and get 1

I ordered the liver and onions over grits through Uber Eats and when I received it almost every piece of liver was burned and tough. I cannot believe someone allowed this to leave the store. I will never buy from them again.

This place was filthy. There was live and dead flies all in the bake, all on the donuts, all over the store. The tables were covered in crumbs from the workers children eating. The worker’s children were sleeping and working behind the counter. The older daughter was packing up our food and literally put her finger nails in her mouth and then walked to my bag with spoons in the hand she had just had in her mouth.

They are truly a NICE and KIND team!! I go there all the time for their DELICIOUS shrimp and grits…my FAVORITE fried catfish and buttermilk drops!!!
They have also HELPED me in the past with My 9th annual birthday “Feed-the-Homeless” event, through a donation sponsorship.

Best food, best service, nicest workers. I’m a night shifter and I frequent this place and the people are wonderful. The Philly cheesesteaks are the sh*t, as are the fries, the beignets, the donuts, the breakfast, and the funnel cake fries.

Looking for a decent place to eat on a holiday or during odd hours of the night? City Donuts & Café is a great candidate. Cheap options available with a good variety for the menu. Donuts have a different taste than I was used to having growing up, but I still grew to enjoy them.

This place is absolutely horrible! They don’t serve real bacon with your breakfast and you only get a single slice of toast. My eggs were undercooked! However they did re- cook the eggs. The staff here is very friendly but the food is absolutely horrible. I was thinking to get a donut since it was a new donut shop. I did get a donut and it tasted undercooked and rubbery. I did give them a chance. But I won’t be returning!
