Maleko Coffee and Pastries Reviews

Maleko Coffee is a very small corner shop in a hotel. The server was very nice and recommended some pastries. I opted for one of the coconut ball pastries and a vanilla frappe. I usually don’t take cold drinks but today was very hot and humid. The vanilla frappe was perfect, not overly sweet like alot of places.
The coconut pastry was also perfect and not overly sweet.
The only downside is they don’t let you sit in the shop, but pointed out a place I can sit in the hotel that had a electrical outlet. Very nice of her, she didn’t have to do that.
If you are near by, it’s worth to stop in and get anything.
4 out of 5 stars because I couldn’t sit in the coffee shop. I probably would have purchased more pastries if I was allowed to.

the cutest most perfect local coffee shop right across the road from our hotel that was my saving grace on multiple mornings when most other cafes are closed. small inside but packed with local baked goods and the cold brew is absolute fire employees are friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

Very nice coffee and pastry selection at this small shop. Enjoyed the home made fudge. Service was quick and friendly.

Moist and flaky cream cheese danishes, delicious coffee, fair prices. I got breakfast here three days in a row, great service and yummy food everytime. Worth the stop.

Line was short and quick. The coffee was about the same as we’ve gotten anywhere else here, good but nothing crazy special. The pastries the spinach cheese one was so good! The guava malasada was soooo yummy. And the danishes! Definitely worth trying.

Great place for delicious savory and sweet treats and good coffee! The owner was there, and he helped me pick the flavor of their malasada-this is guava. Great fruity flavor, with the donut having a milder sweet taste to let the filling shine. They were quick and friendly. I recommend stopping by!

This is a great place to come and get coffee and pastries! The employees here are super nice and helpful. Coffee is made pretty quickly and very yummy too.

I live here and drive for this amazing coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Also super delirious fresh pastries! And fudge. Definitely best coffee shop on the island.

It’s okay. And that’s, okay. I was looking for a bagel, and they said no, don’t have. They recommend a bear claw, and it was good. But then they also recommended a “malasada” with your choice of filling. And if you noticed, I wrote malasada in quotes. The quotes is because there is nothing about it that is a malasada aside from maybe the ingredients, but this was a jelly doughnut. It was a good jelly doughnut, but labeling it a malasada is lame. The mango filling – was okay, it was good. But malasada this was not, it was a jelly doughnut.

Delicious food, great place for breakfast. There’s no dine-in, but it’s totally worth it. The prices are great too. A must!
