Mojo Monkey makes some of the most magnificent donuts I’ve tasted. From the most “basic” of old fashioneds to their wonderful concoctions, every donut is a delight. They have so much texture, not just a squishy chewy mess that you find at so many other places. Flavors that work so well together – their carrot cake old fashioned even had fine bits of carrot in the donut (odd review but I feel like they think of everything). SO GOOD!!!
The only thing I’d add to my 13/10 review is that you should pre-order, as they sell out so dang fast each day they are open. I’ve showed up at the store only to see it closed because they were sold out. Much sadness.

Donut junkie here. Finally made it to Mojo and blown away. Their crème brûlée is perfectly crisp on top. I have no idea how they achieve that with a soft donut underneath. They are rich, but the fillings are complex and not too sweet. The variety is on point. They’re fresh (unlike some other similar Mpls joint I used to frequent, but got tired of stale donuts). The hot cocoa donut tasted like hot cocoa, not just chocolate. I love that they have no-frills coffee. I love the matter of fact shop itself. I just love it and I can’t wait to go back.

Meh, not for me. Had them for Mother’s Day. Trying too hard with these donuts – the elaborate toppings and the flavors are too strong/sweet. (And I have a high tolerance for sweet).
Don’t hold well so consume right away and think twice before bringing to an event.

The donuts are a little on the pricey side, but man are they good. Typically just a couple options, which I would prefer to the decision paralysis that can come with ordering at a place with pretty much unlimited options. The ones they have clearly have a lot of thought and effort put into them. This is our go-to local donut place.

Soooo good!! Very friendly staff. The vanilla bean bismarck was amazing! Lots of flavors to choose from. Great quality donuts. Fresh tasting and soft. Would definitely go back!

We used to love this place, but have noticed that their menu is slowly shrinking and now they don’t even allow walk-ins on Friday’s or Sundays. You have to preorder your donuts the day before (seriously, who plans ahead when buying donuts)? Seriously silly policy, and they didn’t even bother to update their website or Google listing stating they are essentially closed on Friday and Sunday. I wasted 45 minutes my of my time driving here and ended up having to buy Lunds donuts.

Just shut your business down. You’ve made it nearly impossible to buy your doughnuts. You don’t update your website and have the finickiest hours of any business. You have to go to Facebook and try to discern when the hell you can actually buy doughnuts the 3 days you’re SORT OF open. Drove their once to discover via piece of paper taped on the door that you’re closed for most of the summer. Went to your Facebook later in the summer to see confusing and conflicting messages that seemed to tell me I could buy doughnuts on a Friday so drove there to discover you only allow walk-ins on Saturday. For a final attempt, put an order in WAY AHEAD of time for Saturday only to get a call that Saturday morning saying you had an accident in the kitchen and couldn’t fulfill my order. But you made sure to mention you got your commercial orders in?! Are you kidding me? Rude. Move on. Y’all don’t want our business.

As small as this place is, it sure is mighty! The staff is friendly, the decor darling, and the donuts are a solid 5 stars. With flavors like hot chocolate bismarks and mint melt aways, they completely won my heart. If you enjoy donuts, this place is worth the trip!

My favorite donut shop ever. I have been going here for awhile and am so happy they are still open on weekends. They offer pickup or drop off Saturdays and Sundays 8a-1p or sell out. The maple bacon donut is always a favorite staple but I love trying the new flavors every week. This week I tried the Cherry Amaretto Panna Cotta. Yum!! You can order and pay in advance on their website. Free street parking.

My GF and I have been on the hunt for the best donuts in MN and this place is definitely unparalleled. We no longer have to go anywhere else for donuts, this is it. The selection is brimming with creativity and love; this place is awesome.
