Maggie’s Doughnut Reviews

A little busy in the morning. The ladies here are very friendly and efficient. They try to get you in and out as quickly as possible there’s couple of tables if you want to sit and eat. Different coffee choices including iced and blended. Recommend the Ham and cheese croissant or any of their made to order sandwiches. They also have made to order fruit/vegetable juices and smoothies. They have a parking lot that is shared by a laundry mat and Salvadorian Restaurant (it gets pretty busy in the morning) Overall great little Doughnut Shop.

I live about a block away and started frequenting this place early morning for my insatiable sweet tooth and coffee addiction, the staff is always incredibly kind and after the 3rd visit, remembered my name and what I typically would get. THAT is customer service of a bygone era sadly.

The menu is extensive BUT everything tastes wonderful.

And if that wasn’t enough, they take Apple pay!!

So Happy this gem exists within 150 ft of me. So much for my summer speedo body… oh well, there’s always 2023

(Be sure to try the fruit / cheese danishes.)

Gross. I have no idea what the black burnt looking stuff was on top of my bagel sandwich and the bagel was definitely stale. I didn’t ask for ham on my sandwich but got it anyway. This was a WASTE. I ended up removing the egg & cheese and just putting it on bread at home.

I really like this place. I was washing my clothes at the laundromat across the the parking lot and decided to walk over for a snack. I was amazed to see Maggie had such an elaborate menu. Instead of snacking, I decided to just order lunch. I chose a number 58 “Ham and cheese on croissant”. I got the meal with chips and had an option of coffee or Soda. Usually i wouldn’t order coffee with a sandwich, but she had so many flavors brewing, I couldn’t help myself. As I added cream and sugar to my French caramel coffee, she stepped to the back and whipped up my sandwich. Guys, when I tell you it looked exactly like picture on the menu… I am not exaggerating. The cost of the full meal was 8.21 (less than subway). However the taste and presentation was definitely better than Subway. I ate in and the environment was clean and comfy to my liking. 5 stars and a $2 tip for Maggie. If it fits my commute, I may make this my everyday coffee stop….but I’ll definitely be stopping by my next laundromat visit!

This place is the best in the west. A true icon in the rampart neighborhood. Egg and cheese on a bagel with jalapeño was fantastic. My children’s children will come here I am certain of it.

1st time in this place today. Thought it would be good as the prices are affordable and they have a varied menu with a lot of options. Bought 2 Juices + 2 sandwiches & 2 donuts for my coworker and me. As soon as I finished eating I started to feel stomach ache, I thought I ate too fast but then had to run to the restroom to throw up everything. Felt better after. My coworker was fine so I thought it wasn’t the food it was just me. After 20 minuted my coworker felt sick as well and had to rush to the restroom. Something in the food and drinks were not OK. Maybe the juice machine needs to be clean, I couldn’t see the sandwich preparation as they do it in the back. Donuts were OK. I do not recommend this place. Terrible experience.

Maggie’s is a local mom and pop donut shop. They have 2 locations in LA.

Located in a small corner plaza. Very small parking lot.

Friendly service. Location itself is tiny. Weekday mornings there is a constant flow of people getting their morning fixes satisfied.

They accept CC after $5.

Half Dozen – $5.99 – Fresh warm donuts! Normal single price for most donuts is $1.25. Good price break for 6.

Coffee, small – $1.50 – They have a bunch of pots going with different types of coffee. Self pour, pick your crack. No to go creamers.

This place is great, donuts are poppin and coffee is delish. Great juice selection and the bagel breakfast sandwich is so decadent. Shout out to Maggie’s Donut.

The cashiers here invent prices as they go along, and will become very passive aggressive if you communicate so as to advocate for yourself about anything you’re ordering at the counter. I’d give them zero stars if it were an option. They’re only smiling until they can’t treat you however they want, then you will see how they really feel about any given customer. I’m hugely disappointed in their rude service.

The cashier swept dust on me- benefit of the doubt it was not intentional- but because I have pretty acute allergies to dust and a few other things unfortunately, I signaled that sweeping towards me was not good. The cashier’s smile immediately disappeared. The next day, the cashier only had a glare for me. I feel zero guilt about this unfavorable review as I think of the burning, sore nose, and three medications I had to take for allergies and sinus headaches for the rest of that afternoon and night.
