Tried to get donuts for three days but each time we got there they were sold out. Today we got there at ten and it was worth the effort. Their Apple Fritter was one of the best that I have eaten. The powdered sugar donut was awesome. Their donuts were not too sweet. And the coffee was great

The maple donuts are to die for. It’s a stop every time I’m in Tucson. I’m not kidding. I get so excited to eat this when I travel from the east coast. Think about that! I’m from New England and I think these Maple donuts are the bomb! Incredible

Good donuts! Fluffy and delicious dough. The Boston cream was my favorite as the chocolate was sweet but a little dark, the cream was not overly sweet. I really recommend it! The service was quick and friendly. You can sit down and enjoy your coffee and donuts indoors as there are plenty of seats. The place is really clean! Went early morning and the donuts were still warm.

The staff here is really nice and the baked goods are amazing. The donuts are wonderful (especially the whipped cream bismark) and the tres leches cake is AMAZING.

8.2022 -Updating June’s post. We thought we would give this place another try ( more so because we were craving sweet pastries). So hugely disappointed on this place we’ve changed 4 stars to 2 stars. Some of the pastries taste older than day old. They taste like they’ve been refrigerated and put out to sell over & over, they have that same UNFRESH FLAVOR we get when we put in fridge after we purchase them and eat 3 or 4 days later. Or else they are hard and old. Maybe they only make fresh what they run out of ( and these are the ones people find delish). When they first opened the donuts were beautiful and fresh and plus 5 star quality. We dont know what happened. We’ve tasted cake slices they taste- old also. And the cake stuff sits right where the west sun hits them. Since they don’t sell discounted day old – they might sell the day olds to the public at the regular way over the top expensive prices until they sell out. Maybe its time to find another bakery, unfortuately this one is no longer the le caves we grew up with.

06.27.22- Update. Yay the Bakery is now opened longer hours. The pastries are good unfortunately it’s not the same great Le Caves from S. 6th Avenue and back in the day. We don’t believe this is a 5 star operation ( based on taste & quality) anymore. We purchased some donuts from the counter in a bag, they had different color crust. They looked good but tasted like they had been there for weeks or months- old. Many of us wondered how long the pastries sit out for sale. They have no day old sales like many bakeries- none seen anyways. Also we know prices have gone up on almost many things, but the available treats are pretty pricey. Also be prepared to be asked if you want to leave a tip when you go through the drive thru. I’m not sure why a counter worker would be asking for tips? It’s bad enough we have to pay restaurant workers what their employers don’t pay. It’s like soon all the fast food joints will want tips also?
It’s just not right. If you are paid hourly no tip should be asked for unless customer feels they want to leave one for “Exceptionally Great Service “- not just for doing one’s job.

One of my favorite bakeries in the Tucson area! Happy I found their new location after moving

How do you make your coworkers morning?

You stop at LeCaves in the way into work. Long time Tucson business being prepared for the next generation. New location, same great flavors. Best donut in town. No frills or gimmicks or boxes of cereal dumped on top.

Always a great way to start the day. High quality baked goods served by friendly, prompt and knowledgeable staff. Give them a try or visit again soon and support a local business.

Holy cow !!! Unbelievable!!! I was in the mood for a nice lil pastry treat. I couldn’t even decide what the heck I wanted it all looked so good. I’m in heaven , I got almost one of everything , it is by far the best I’ve had in years. I will be coming back here again and again and again that’s for sure. Even the customer service was awesome. So glad I tried something new !
