Sunny Daze Café Reviews

Went for breakfast at 8 this am with my daughter. I had an omelet with cottage cheese and wheat toast.
Servers are attentive and polite. Very homey feeling. Lots of flamingo items, i.e., clothing, bags, stuffed animals for sale etc….
Sunnydaze is a go to for comfort food. ☕

Wonderful breakfast cafe with novel decor. Servers kept the coffee flowing and the breakfast was hearty. You definitely get that bang for your buck that were all looking for and the diverse menu has something for everyone. The server even brought around free samples of fresh donut holes for every table. I cant support chain food establishments when places like this are available.

The decor is ok a little overboard with flamingos besides that the staff is friendly and quick. The food was good but not great I had the skillet #1 I would rate it a 7/10. My wife had the chicken strips and waffle I would say 5/10. Waffle was great but the chicken was ok the breading was a little to dense for chicken strips.

Extremely expensive for what you get. The photo reflects a half portion of biscuits and gravy. This plate is tiny, the biscuit was in need of more gravy, I mentioned as we left and was told I should have said something. I would be embarrassed to bring this to the table, it was their responsibility to serve decent food. $4.99 each, so what you see in the photo was $9.98
ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Coffee was $2.99 a cup. First and last time visiting this place. Help the local business, maybe they need customer a etiquette classes. I could go on, but I won’t.

Very good breakfast place in Tucson! Went there on a Wednesday morning. Good service. Good was on point. No one in the party of 6 had a bad dish. Kids enjoyed their pancakes. The food was cooked well and definitely made to order. Funky fun atmosphere with a Tropical/Jimmy Buffett vibe!

I came here for breakfast with my son. The people were nice and the food was decent. However, I ordered a kids meal which explicitly says it comes with a drink with the meal so I got my son an apple juice. I get the bill and I’m charged $4 for the apple juice. And was told that it’s only for soda, not juice. Well who gets their child soda with breakfast? And who charges 3.89 for an apple juice? That’s almost as much as the kids meal itself. I mentioned that it wasn’t right and if it didn’t include juice, it should say so on the menu. Will not be back.

Good food: shrimp tacos were our favorite, but the fish tacos & the chicken tacos were also very good. We ended up having to wait for our food for a much longer time than we expected; not sure what happened with the kitchen as it wasn’t ever explained to us, but hopefully that was a fluke for this cute & friendly restaurant.

Great little place for breakfast. Not too expensive. Staff was wonderful. Next time I come through to meet up with my friend I’ll probably stop in again.

Personal favorite of mine. I love the big breakfasts.. Especially the sausage. They’re huge. We’ve been coming here since c they’ve opened and locally owned. Can’t say enough good things about this place..

Employees were nice, our waitress was ok. But, the food….. Nothing to write home about that’s for sure! Also I DO NOT recommend the loaded hash browns. Hash browns with cream of chicken soup and dried onions.. Not a place we are planning a trip to again.
