Visited this place on a whim as I was passing through and asked if they would pack the cookies so they didn’t crumble while I was traveling. The lady was very friendly and took the extra time to do a thorough job. They made it through TSA and the plane ride, they were in perfect shape when I got back to St. Louis!

Visited this bakery because it’s closest to our apartment read good reviews. They worked with me to get a picture cake for my boyfriends birthday and turned out great. Tasted fantastic looked great. Worked with me to put it in windowless box so I could suprise him with the cake I choose to get him. They also have great custard Bismarks.

I arrived here and there was only a couple minute wait in line, and the staff were very helpful. I got some kind of cream donut, and it was quite delicious. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to grab a donut and be able to enjoy it.

Get your kringle here. We stopped in to grab a blueberry kringle late morning on a weekday and got the last one (with that cream cheese frosting on it). Only one other customer in the store, but it took a while for a worker to come out and serve us. Must have been a slower time after the early morning rush. Quick parking right out front is appreciated, especially with the road at the south end of the mall under construction. That delicious pastry lasted a few days before we finally finished it.

The nicest people ever!!! They bent over backwards to make things right after I dropped my cake in the parking lot. The decorator is sooo talented. I will always bring my buttons Lanes and recommend Lanes to everyone I know.

I haven’t been here for awhile and construction made it difficult to find a way in. Once here I knew I needed to stock up. Some of the best bakery (donuts, kringle, danish) I have had in a long time! It was worth the challenge of getting here.

The bakery items are a 5-star — they were phenomenal! Very, very good smiley face cookie- soft and not too sweet. The Apple Kringle was great as well- pretty sweet, as it should be, and decadent! The 4-stars are only because of price!! I want to come back and get another cookie but not at $3.50 a cookie! Absurd but deliciously so. So I’ll probably be back but not often! Also have cakes and donuts.

We were in Madison and needed a last minute Birthday Cake. I googled and read the reviews. I gave them a call and I was told they had several different cakes. They didn’t not disappoint me . I bought 2 cakes and the Lady wrote on both for me. We also bought some fresh pastries in the cake. The Cake was very rich but it was very fresh and moist. I will definitely return ! Thank you Lanes Bakery for your hard work.
