Knead Donuts & Tea Reviews

Excellent doughnut place. NOT THE usual greasy selection of many places, but creative flavors made on site! Excellent Vietnamese coffee too. We bought 4 different doughnuts. I had guava cream cheese which was delicious, but I wished that there was some guava inside, not just on top. The guy after me ordered a sandwich. Staff very friendly and patient while you decide which one you want.

You might never know from the street what a delightful donut shop this is! It’s small and unassuming, but it made LA Eaters list of the best donut shops in LA, and after trying it I have to say I agree. They craft beautiful looking, absolutely delicious donuts! One of the simplest they offer, a blueberry cake donut, is probably the best cake donut I’ve ever tried. I also loved the creme brulee donut. Also to give you a sense of the establishment: when we visited, they had sold out of the creme brulee. We must have seemed a little sad (we were) because the owner and his wife turned around and made some for us, fresh, right there. No donut shop has ever done that for me. Really gracious and kind owners, and really good donuts. This is a place I will happily support! 5 stars for me.

Craving a Snack? Good Place to go to in Long Beach. The Donut Ideas are really fun and the Staff is really helpful. It’s definitely fun to bring some of the creations home as a small gift!

Serving Long Beach since 2017, the former owners of Siem Reap Restaurant taking over a previous shop at the corner of 7th Street and Redondo Avenue, Knead Donuts & Tea is said to make some of the best fried Dough south of Los Angeles despite its unremarkable exterior.

Owned by the father-daughter team of Huey and Amy Behuynh, the elder on-site greeting guests Saturday morning, guests can expect a warm welcome from masked staff who are happy to explain a diverse selection of choices ranging from simple Yeast rings to Croissant Donuts tallying more than $5.

Selling six for $26 while Huey happily suggests a dozen to get one free, prices not dissimilar from Sidecar or Blue Star, first bites of Knead’s Fritter suggest serious issues as each bite seeped with oil, the Cruller sliced around Whip expectedly a lot lighter though in terms of flavor losing any sense of egginess to the Cream.

Hoping for better from “Kronuts,” the lamination on point but raw Granny Smith’s and near-liquid Caramel creating a sloppy bite as Apples ejected on all sides, Guava-Cheese thankfully fared better though the $5 cost for something no better than Randy’s or Spudnuts should be noted.

Better to be simple, a $5 Old Fashioned with Caramel and Sea Salt exactly as one would hope, Knead’s Blueberry Donut is admittedly a work of art thanks to lots of Fruit and unexpected lightness in the crumb plus natural tasting Glaze on top.

This place has the freshest and most amazing types of donuts. Even the croissant breakfast sandwiches and hotdog buns were worth trying. I highly recommend it.

Best donuts I’ve ever tasted and I thought I was a connoisseur! I found this place for my employer through Google searching for “best donuts near me”. They wanted donuts for a birthday and I’m so glad they went here to buy them. i just got to taste the leftovers from their purchase 2 days ago and they are not overly sweet (shocking, I know!) and every flavor I sampled was fabulous tasting. I could tell what the flavor profile was meant to be and it wasn’t disguised under a layer of sugar. I can’t wait to have more! Nice work Knead Donuts & Tea – I highly recommend you to all donut lovers!

Went here thinking it was the old donut place. I was ready for some donut holes. Later to find out it’s a new business that took over. Donuts where sitting on trays, very odd to me, but I was still willing to try. They look cute but I was disgusted. The coffee was warm not hot, the taste of it was gross and sour to me and worse at a warm temp. I asked for a ham and cheese and she asked if I wanted it with jalapeños, avocado ect… i said sureeee. as you can see with add ons came out to $12.25. It tasted like a rabbit food croissant. I didn’t even finish it. Donuts look good and fancy but even my son said “eeeww mommy.” It was a total “no” for us. Looks cute but we don’t let our eyes fool our taste.

I’m so thankful I finally tried out this place! It’s a bit unassuming from the outside but the staff are warm and friendly and it’s clean and bright inside! I stared in awe at how lovely and tasty looking all the donuts were!! I got a pig in a blanket and brown sugar milk tea. I’m very picky when it comes to boba and it was absolutely perfect. Chewy soft sweet boba and a flavorful milk tea! So so sooo good.
