HiHi Donuts Reviews

[ren’s review]

Initially came into to HiHi’s for just the boba tea, but ended up ordering donuts, boba, and sandwiches. We got a half dozen of donuts. When we asked for the cereal topped donuts, they made fresh ones for us, which was awesome. The donuts were so good fresh and were also really good after sitting in the fridge later. The sandwiches were made fresh and tasted really good, especially on the croissant for bread. The boba tea had popping bobas, so that was a win for HiHi’s. Definitely coming back for more.

It was my first time in there and it was wonderful! The staff was so friendly and sweet. I told them it was my first time in the shop and they snuck a large bobba tea for the price of a small. It was really sweet of them! The donuts were warm and yummy too. This is definitely a place to become a regular!

Is it hee hee or high high? Either way, it’s a good time.

Tables, counters, and floors were clean and everything seemed organized. Restaurant temperature was just right and decor was quaint, diner-esque. Steady flow of customers coming and going. Parking lot was in okay condition and easy to navigate.

Staff was friendly, attentive, organized, and urgent. Appearance was casual and clean.

Donut bread is phenomenal, so light and not too sweet. Ham and Cheese Croissant was tasty, had a good amount of ham and cheese, flaky, and they even heat it up for you. Jelly Donut was packed with jelly which was flavorful and didn’t taste artificial. Cinnamon Roll could’ve had more cinnamon, but had the perfect amount of glaze. Overall, worth the price.

Next time, I want to try a different savory sandwich, a different donut, and maybe a boba drink.

Thank you Hi Hi Donuts!

If grocery store donuts are good for you and then this place will meet your expectations. I was embarrassed to bring them to work .
If you like fresh, raised, and quality ingredients- I’d steer clear of hi hi as it will only be a $13 disappointment.
2nd time here and they seem consistently blah.
Their raised donuts are Deflated.
Very simple selection.
Frosting is not quality nor is baking mix.
Very suspicious that some donuts are from the day before bc they are dry.
Nice staff.
Everyone wearing masks which they are frequently touching but with gloved hands.

Hands down the best Boston crème I’ve ever had ! All the donuts I got were super fresh and delicious ! Also had a breakfast bagel sandwich and sausage roll up thingy. Everything was delicious and fresh. This is now my go to donut shop forever forward

I placed a Door Dash order for a friend in Phoenix and in the special instructions, I asked them to write the message pictured below on the receipt, because “this is a girl emergency and my girl needs donuts.”

They took it to another level by giving us good color, font, and adding the heart exclamation point. Many thanks to that artist and the HiHi team! You made my friend cry happy tears, and gained a Wisconsin fan. I will definitely be stopping by whenever I’m in town.

Food’s good, but I just found out they’ve been charging me combo prices for JUST the sandwich for the past month. Apparently I’m supposed to be getting a soda and a donut with my $10 sandwich (that’s only supposed to be $8 on its own). I’ve never once been offered anything that comes with the combo, despite them taking my extra money. That’s pretty frustrating.

Learned about kolachis in Texas. Came back here and searched for them all over the valley and finally found hihi and I drive from the East valley to get them from here. Very delicious. Highly recommend, and wish they would expand to other parts of the valley. Namely the East valley.

I’ve been here twice. The quality of ingredients is not high, and some of the donuts have a disturbingly plastic taste. Not a fan.
