Awesome bagel shop in Yonkers. Been going here since I was a kid driving into the city from Westchester. One of the gentleman running it has been there since. A great sign when someone has been working there for that long and still provides excellent service. Always will stop here for a BE&C.

Great bagels and egg and cheese on a croissant but if you don’t accept credit and debit cards and Apple Pay from your customers, you dont deserve your customers.
Why make us pay $2 to go to an ATM just to come spend money with you? Unless you’re going to give us a $2 discount.
This is the problem I have with business who don’t want to recognize technology advances and their customers are using that tech, so you’re missing on. Making a purchase should be an impulse buy. You’re interrupting that impulse purchase by forcing me to first think if I paper money somewhere in my car or pocket. Not a good business model for customer continuity. You’re already in a difficult place off of a crazy highway. At least make my visit worth it. You need to accept credit cards!

Located in a strip of stores on the Thruway service road, there is sufficient parking. The downside of this location is that you have to drive there, but it’s worth the trip if you want a great, authentic bagel. If I could, I would give it 20 stars because this is one of the few bagel shops that make authentic bagels. A bagel is supposed to be crisp on the outside and slightly chewy, not like regular bread, on the inside. Theirs is perfection! They also have a variety of cream cheeses and make sandwiches, both breakfast and lunch, as well. Bialys, muffins, danish are also available. The staff is great, particularly the owner, who works alongside his crew. Definitely a must try!!

A staple of local eats in Yonkers! Another great breakfast. They do now require face masks when entering as well as the employees. They have a long plastic screen that separates the staff from the patrons above the counter. Still a very popular place for breakfast. Cash only.. plenty of parking in front.. See you guys tomorrow. Disgusting I guess they only get business by catching dummies who get off the exit by the deegan expressway because the store smelled the smell hit me at the door was going to order a chicken sandwich but the smell overwhelmed me so I cancelled my order and hit the door immediately plus they acted as if they didn’t want to make the sandwich judging by the way the Mexican gentleman responded during my order I believe I dodged a bullet. Whew!!!!

The location isn’t great, right next to a gas station and there isn’t much seating, but the bagels are good and the people working here are friendly and funny. It’s got a real neighborhood feel to it.

Fell off, used to be better. One of the partners left and then it went downhill. Bagels had a sponge like texture. Kinda flavorless as well as their cream cheese. They used to be a lot better couple years ago. Ny bagel supposed to be hard outside soft inside. Goldbergs is now hard outside and hard inside. Was fighting with the bagel to bite it. Gave them a star or two because they still have good customer service but bagels suck now.
