Excellent bakery, lunch options and coffees. Enjoyed the variety, options over last four years and quality hallmark is always held very high. Love the sweets the most with the intricate work. This is the original shop and we frequent this give the proximity to the train station.

I had a delicious toasted croissant with bacon egg and mozzarella. It was absolutely delicious . Their vanilla truffle cookies are to die for . However I wasn’t a big fan of the coffee . I had a latte with oat milk wasn’t anything amazing .

Fantastic quality. The cakes are absolutely delicious! The coconut cake is the best I’ve ever had with lots of coconut in it (though I didn’t love the outside and ate around it) and the chocolate cake has great flavor. The cookies are good. I got something I didn’t order instead of what I actually ordered even though the person confirmed the name of it with me. It was still pretty good. The coffee cake was a bit dry though. The staff was prompt and polite. I’ll def go back if I’m in the area or in the area of their other location.

We are frequent customers at Martine’s and this really is a great bakery. We’ve tried most of the sandwiches and the hot menu and haven’t really come across anything we don’t like. The cakes are also fantastic. I ordered one for a birthday and it didn’t last long at all!

The only gripe which knocks off a star is that the service is rather convoluted. For example, you order a sandwich and it gets passed through to the kitchen to be cut in half and wrapped in paper. During busy times (of which there are many, this place is deservedly popular!) it can mean a quick drop in to get a sandwich can end up in almost a 10 minute wait for them to just cut it in half. It would make for much quicker service if the person serving you could do this themselves and you’d have your food in less than half the time!

One final word of advice: Eat their chocolate babka, and I mean all of it. It’s seriously good

My coworker ALWAYS purchases cakes from this location for office birthdays and they are always fantastic. My son recently had a birthday so I decided to grab him a cake from here and it did not disappoint. This place is so cute and the items fresh. I definitely recommend and this is now MY go to bakery….

Martine’s has two locations. The original store is in Tuckahoe near the Crestwood Station and they also have another shop in Scarsdale. I’ve always liked the shop in Tuckahoe. It feels like you’ve walked into a bakery that you might have shopped in as a kid. They have a wrap around counter with great looking cakes as well as sandwiches and other dessert treats. They have a few tables on the sidewalk and the staff is very friendly.
