Dunkin’ Reviews

Visited Saturday 7/23 at 1:49pm, the staff were not excited that we walked in the door. Sluggishly responsive to our questions and non conversational throughout the ordering process, maybe they had an exhaustive day. The business was clean and a crew member was cleaning tables when we entered the store. Donuts were stocked with a wide variety. Iced coffee was okay, though I would not recommend it. My daughter enjoyed the powdered sugar donut and chocolate milk. To be completely honest, there are much better coffee and donut shops in the Huntsville area.

I ordered two coffees and Boston creams in the drive through, I got the coffees with one straw and vanilla donuts instead of Boston. Also the guy on the intercoms never told me to move forward or what my total was and the guy at the window never told me my total either, also I never got a receipt. When I went inside to kindly asked for the fix they never even apologized! They never even used a complete sentence. I’ll never come here again even if I have to drive to the other side of town!

It’s hard for me to leave a 3 star review. I don’t give bad reviews, (not that a 3 is bad but it’s not good either).
I prefer not to give a review at all… unless it’s absolutely terrible, ’cause like mama used to say, “… if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.”

Let me just say, I love Dunkin Donuts. The Bavarian Creme is my all time favorite donut, period.
It’s a sign of the times we are in now. And as a former (very long time ago) fast food worker, I understand that the drive through has priority, but ‘you’ don’t leave the folks standing in your lobby waiting over 10 minutes to order and have 6 people working the drive-through. You assign somebody to work the front counter.

Also, this particular location (Memorial Pkwy NW) doesn’t label their donuts and the young, newer kids working there don’t know exactly what they (all the donut flavors) are. And I always find myself educating them on what a Bavarian cream donut is… no matter how many times they say they “know what I’m talking about” and No, it’s not a “Boston cream” (donut) or icing-filled donut…which is always their first answer.

[Bavarian Kreme. Similar to the Boston Kreme, this donut is a yeast shell with Bavarian Kreme filling. However, instead of a chocolate glaze topping, the Bavarian Kreme is tossed in powdered sugar. Bavarian Kreme filling was created to resemble the traditional Boston Kreme filling for a cake.]

This location and the Jones Valley location typically don’t keep the Bavarian creams in stock but today they did… albeit with a little age on them, but they taste like heaven!

Bought a dozen (variety) for the office. Dunkin always has the best selection…and their Coffee is the Best!

And they always do special donuts for the holidays.

New staff. Iced vanilla coffee latte was sad not enough flavor or coffee Croissant was dry, much more bread than stuff inside. On plus side it was crispy not soggy. Got donut holes, they were fresh and flavorful. Will try again..

We were asked to pull forward and the food was ice cold. I understand that it was the breakfast rush, however 3 employees had a curt attitude.

And if I need to pull forward the food should be warm/hot.
I don’t mind waiting and I know not everyone is a morning person. Just maybe you can hire more staff or give breaks before the rush so the staff can bear less of a burden and the food can be made properly.

I was waiting for a breakfast croissant. After 15 minutes, I asked about it, and they assured me it would come out soon. I felt like Eleven in *Stranger Things,* asking myself, *When is soon?!*

After another 15 minutes, I multiplied my normal hourly wage by 30 minutes and decided the amount of money I’d spent on the croissant wasn’t worth that much of my time and left without it.

Maybe this place would be alright if you were to just get something that was immediately available, such as donuts, but don’t order anything that has to be cooked. But I really don’t see why you’d go here rather than the millions of other restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

Oh, but I will say that the cashier was friendly and patient as I took a while looking at the menu, which I appreciated, as going to new restaurants is something that gives me much anxiety.

Coffee is okay but NEVER get the food. I ordered two orders of hash browns and I couldn’t eat any. I didn’t even get one has brown. They were hard and the smell of the grease was strong.

Could not understand the person working drive-through. He was trying too hard to sound cool but it was NOT helpful when trying to communicate for my order. I Received the wrong items and had to go in to get it corrected and my Frozen drinks were filled 1 inch from the top of my cup (not full) Careless workmanship. Terrible customer service I hope they fix it because I really like Dunkin.

Customer service is trash entire midday staff. It took 45 minutes for my order to get made because it was not taken go the back to get prepared. Out of that 45 minutes all I received was my coffee with no sugar like I ordered. My sandwiches never got made and the black heavy set girl was giving allot of attitude preparing my order. I became over the wait so I just demanded a refund and will contribute to drag this locations rating down. Saturday midday staff is the downfall of this location hope you fix it as well as the lack of item’s that we’re not in stock on the menu also the broken equipment.

Michele

I’ve been here a few times, very far apart visits, and every time it seems like it’s always a negative experience. I agree with one of the other reviews that the staff seems miserable. Ordered a sugar free iced coffee, was asked twice if I wanted sugar in it. Interesting. Coffee was not good either. Definitely needs better management to boost employee morale.
