Duck Donuts San Antonio – Huebner Commons Reviews

This place has the best donuts in town. My personal favorites are the savory sweet Maple Bacon, the Glaze, the Strawberry Icing and the Blueberry Pancake. They have an almost cake like quality to the donuts and they are second to none.

The staff here is very friendly to both veterans and families. Not a large space to stay inside and eat, but it’s a donut spot and who sits in and dines in a donut spot (to be fair there is a small table inside if you choose to dine inside)?

All in all, it’s a nice affordable place to purchase gourmet quality donuts and definitely the spot to go to if you are in the business of sales and are looking to impress or leave a lasting impression on your clients. Even if they forget you, they won’t forget these donuts.

These could be the best donuts in San Antonio. They’re always made fresh in front of you so they arrive piping hot. There are so many flavors abs options available that you almost have to buy a dozen. Or come back a few times! Bring water because you will be thirsty. Lots of parking is available and there is one table inside to enjoy a donuts in house.

I used to work at a location in NC as a topper and so I know these donuts are amazing. It is cake-like fried donut, made fresh everyday, all day. My all time 1/2 dozen are : OREO, maple bacon, lemon with vanilla drizzle, smores, powdered sugar, cinnamon bun. The peanut butter/jelly donut is also great. You can invent your own donuts!
I took three buses to get here just because I knew how awesome these would be and I was not disappointed. Always fresh, always giving, i like that the toppings are not sparingly added.

I would rate this higher than a 5 star if I could! The Bacon in the sun donut is in my opinion the best donut ive ever had. Maple glaze, a generous amount of bacon crumbles, and a salted caramel drizzle! You can watch them make your donuts right in front of you which is a neat experience. Clean location, friendly staff, and fast service! I Highly recommend Duck Donuts to anyone either local or visiting the area!

My daughter and I shared a chocolate explosion donut sundae. It was awesome. They make your donut fresh while you wait. The ice cream was melting because the donut was hot.
Unusually great experience.
5 stars plus

The best donuts in the whole city we have used them for birthdays and valentines days etc for several years now because they are so amazing. Fresh donuts with too many options and helpful staff. And way reasonable prices for what you are getting the chocolate ones are amazing but the cinnamon sugar is the BEST.

Husband and I went in on Nov 15th around 10:30am. The staff (Hector and a wonderful young lady who’s name I should have asked for!) we’re SO pleasant and kind. I loved being able to watch the donut making process too! The donuts taste AMAZING! They were still warm when we got home. We will definitely be coming back soon- it was a great way to start off the week.

The donuts here are excellent. They are still warm when you get them. They taste more like a cake to me than a donut. I think the ingredients are of better quality than your run-off-the mill donut. I had the peanut butter and jelly donut and the peach cobbler donut. They were both great. I didn’t have any of their milkshakes but they looked as if they would be really good also.
