I used to work there so what can I saw I love it here. Now my little sister works at this location. On the images you can see how I started out learning how to bake the gourmet cake doughnuts & how much I got better at it in these photos. I love to bake at home so why not learn the right way. And guess what? Tim Duncan from the San Antonio Spurs is her regular there! Wish I met him lucky butt. Mrs Brenda was the best boss I ever had next to my new boss ..sometimes I wish I never left.

The donuts are amazing, way better than the national chain DD. The staff on Sunday was nice enough but they could smile a little bit more. The young ladies were working very hard but seemed a little bothered. Still they were attentive so I tipped $5. They would get tips like that all the time if they are more receptive. They deserved it no matter what but a smile can change everything for everyone, especially on a Sunday morning.

The older lady with the accent that works there said, “good morning” as soon as I walked in door. There was a line so I made a call, she immediately tended to me which I thought was great! I was in a hurry and they delivered on promptness. Thank you!!

Good Donuts and great customer service. Only complaint was the Men’s bathroom, the door handle and light switch were dirty with glaze. No paper towels due to an eco friendly hand dryer, so you’re forced to use toilet paper to avoid touching it. The rest of the bathroom was clean though.

Can’t go wrong with their selection. Only downside is unless you’re planning to order over a certain amount you’ll have to have cash on hand. Can’t be helped with card fee’s.

Donuts are outstanding! Loved the blueberry! But what didn’t make sense here was the coffee.. apparently you can’t get milk in your coffee but there’s a refrigerator filled with milk right there.. and the creamer came from there. Take a bottle of milk out for the coffee! Seriously not that difficult!

I seriously think the high star reviews are from employees. I had order kolaches from this place and the bread and meat was really dry as if it was over cooked or not freshly made like a day old. We had ordered a couple of large lattes and oh boy that was full of syrupy sugar, no one was able to drink it. We even poured it in the sink and it was very thick with lots of syrupy sugar. The donuts are okay but for anything else don’t waist your money, there are other good quality coffee and donut shops near this location.

Stopped in this Shipleys because we were in that part of town. I wrongly assumed all Shipleys would’ve had similar if not identical products. The kolache’s were at least one day old, burned whenever they were made, and reheated to the point that all of the cheeses had melted out of them. So they were dry and tasteless. A big bummer when you buy a dozen and don’t discover this until you’re already home. I was surprised at how limited the selection of donuts was even at 10 AM. I was also surprised at the limited customer service skills of the two male employees who were at serving customers. They acted as if everything was a huge imposition to them. Also there was not a napkin to be found in the entire place. Was treated rudely when I asked for a napkin. We spent $33 on food that was thrown out. We won’t be back.

I go at 6 am to get some hot fresh glazed donuts. ( hot Shipley’s are my favorite treat). Tells me no hot donuts that I need to get there right at 5 am because they make them at 4am. So pretty it’s impossible To get a really fresh donut. So cheers to let’s be honest day old donuts!

I grew up on shipleys and have always loved their doughnuts and kolaches, but as of lately it just isnt the same… today went in grabbed a couple blueberry frosted cake doughnuts and the centers of the doughnuts were still raw… ordered a few kolaches sausage and cheese , they were very dry and had almost no cheese. I remember ordering kolaches as a younger man and cheese oozing out of the buttery roll and now it’s a dry plain roll and no cheese at all. Very disappointed.
