We just HAD to see what all the fuss was about! We went mid morning and there’s wasn’t a line. Lots of donuts to choose from and we grabbed a mixed dozen with one of the kolaches and a Bavarian creme chocolate bar. We enjoyed them and found them to be fresh. They are very cakey/doughy in consistency. Good flavors overall.

Solid doughnuts and great Kolachs this place is good for quick in and out when you are in a hurry. Very fast and polite service.

The Kolaches went to $2.50 and up.Werent got , like I like. The lady said fruit Kolaches were $3.50 as well. The doughnuts went up as well. Pretty expensive .I guess that why It wasn’t as busy. I will find another shop.Thats a high price for those products. Taste was as they were made hours before.Not the bang for the buck. Nothing spectacular.

I would recommend any Donut and/or Kolaches. You do feel a bit rushed as others have said however, at the same time there are limited staff and they are serving up their donuts warm and tasty.
Good thing I don’t live close – I would be there daily.

Shipley Do-Nuts are amazing anytime of the day when a donut crave hits! But nothing beats a warm, freshly made donut that melts in your mouth! This Shipley location has never failed to provide a clean and tidy appearance, mouth watering food served with fast, friendly service.

Went to the Shirley’s on Austin Hwy this morning and ordered a dozen donuts theough the drive thru. The young lady at the window was very nice and friendly. While i was in the drive theu I was watching the older Hispanic male who was cooking the donuts when he transferred from the fryer to the glazing area he dropped some on the floor when he thought i wasnt looking he picked them up from the floor and put them in the glaze machine. Before i knew this was happening this was the location i always came to but i think i will be going to a different location from now on!!! People like this shouldnt have a job working around food. They should have been thrown in the trash.. I gave you a 3 because the girl in the window was very nice. Other than that you should have gotten 1 star…

Ok now this place is amazing the lady was extremely nice and helpful we got a dozen of our choice for $7 incredible doughnuts well worth the drive very fresh and yummy

Quality is hit or miss.
There are times the donuts are a total 5 stars–moist and delicious– and others when its dry or greasy.
