We just drove by and decided to stop in. So glad we did! The pastries are absolutely heavenly. The cinnamon twists are made from a puff pastry type dough, and they just melt in your mouth. Lots of Dutch goodies and groceries too. The filled pinwheels were out of this world and the coffee was top notch too. Truly a treasure we’ll need to go back to.

My fiance and I got our unique, delicious dream wedding cake here and highly recommend it! Before we chose them, they accomidated our crazy work schedules by offering us a to-go cake tasting. There was a $10 charge for the tasting platter, and while other bakeries gave us a free tasking platter, the quality was far, far above the others and we did not mind at all. The cakes and European style frosting were amazing, but we fell in love with the French style wedding cake (croque-en-bouche) we saw on their website. It’s a tower of delicious, tender cream puffs filled with sweet cream, held together with caramel, and surrounded by a cage of crispy spun caramel. They even added fresh berries when we asked. What a show stopper and perfect with champagne!

In general the cake, pie, and bread is too sweet.
Since there is rarely good bakery in town, this one still can be the best one.
I might go back and try more.

First time ordered a cake for a birthday. Online ordering is very easy and in depth. The cake…is amazing!!! I got chocolate cake with very delicate almost like a marshmallow filling (although the filling was supposed to be German chocolate, no regrets though ) Such a unique delicious cake! Perfect sweetness and, to be honest, I think it was the filling that made a big difference) so I’m very glad I ordered the cake here and I will definitely be back!!!

I’ve spent almost $100 in less than two weeks here. This place is the sh!t! As soon as you walk in it smells like heaven, smacked in the face with the smell of the lord himself. Everything is so beautiful, the drinks are great, and a seating area to dine in. My only complaint is my pockets are hurting and I may gain a couple of pounds. Anyone complaining about taste and quality have immature taste buds and need to grow up. Place is BUSSIN

Cinnamon rolls! Quite possibly the best cinnamon roll I have ever had. Perfectly baked to the center and that icing… wow!! I also had a sausage roll: flaky pastry shell surrounded a well seasoned, tender sausage center. I lost half of it to my daughter!

When you walk into Boonzaaijer’s you know right away you are in a special place! The smell is incredible and truly everything I have ever tried there has been perfection. Their sourdough bread is out of this world (highly recommend making grilled cheese with it). My blind brother is a huge fan of the Almond Tea Cakes and every time he is in town visiting he insists we stop by Boonzaaijer’s to get a box of them! I personally love the fruit tarts, lemon squares, salted caramel almond truffle pastry, shortbread cookies, Boston crème pie, and the vanilla lemon torte. I am so glad we have such a special bakery in our town and you will not be disappointed if you give them a try!

Ordered a birthday cake online. Tons of options available for customization of your cake for that special day. It was ready and waiting when I went to pick it up. Really delicious flavors, as well as moist and delicate. My husband enjoyed it, and he doesn’t have much along the lines of a sweet tooth! We will be ordering again, for sure!
