I’m so very confused by the positive reviews of this place. I literally had the worst donut experience of my life here today. Every single donut I bought- 7 or so- was completely inedible. Yes, I went in on a Wednesday at 2pm, and yes, I could tell the donuts weren’t fresh. It would have been nice if they’d had a halfway fresh batch and decent selection available seeing as they’re open until 6pm. Oh well, I thought, I’ve heard rave reviews, I’ll still give them a try, opting for a couple glazed, a couple blueberry, an old fashioned and a sprinkled. Every single one was unsightly and gross. Not just not fresh but bad. The blueberry, usually my favorite, was misshapen and inconsistently baked. The old fashioned was off tasting and cardboard in texture. I could tell the glazed were prob decent fresh but the others were terrible and I sadly ended up throwing the whole box away. To make matters worse, neither employee was wearing a mask or especially friendly, despite the fact that I was the only customer and tipped! Long story short, I’m out $7 and still craving a good donut.

The shop is a bit hard to find but very cute on the inside. The donuts are really good too. The chef is really nice and has a lot of creative doughnuts

Try the broasted chicken! We spoke with the woman behind the counter for awhile, and she mentioned that they marinate the chicken for 12 hours before cooking it. It’s delicious and juicy with crispy breading. They also have chicken tenders but we only tried the broasted chicken, sausage roll, and blueberry donut. Will definitely be back! Great, friendly service and delicious food.

It was our first time there.The owner was an inviting gentleman who explained his process on how he makes his chicken (which is AMAZING). We also tried the new kolaches and they were very good.

These reviews don’t match what I got! We just got a dozen donuts and some donut holes and they were ALL stale!!!! Circle k serves better donuts!! What a disappointment

I’ve been wanting to stop here. Finally pulled in & glad I did! Huge selection even later in day. Tried glazed with coconut. Wonderful donuts & cinnamon rolls. I will be back.

Ordered broasted chicken to try. Price was good, but the heat lamp failed to keep the chicken warm. Both the chicken and potatoes had been sitting for a while. Won’t be back.

You sometimes don’t know how good a place is until you have to go elsewhere. Now in st louis region, donuts heavy and greasy. Young donuts were always light fluffy and absolutely delicious. This shop makes some of the all time best donuts anywhere. I have searched and searched for donuts as good as this shop makes. No luck.
