Don’t know if the donuts are any good, but I’ve been sitting out front for 10 minutes now & still not open. Guy inside & sign says open at 6am.
This after I drove from another location that was closed also. SO frustrating & annoying. I need to be on the road!

The Donut Wheel will have you come around again and again. Their donut selections are the traditional type; glazed, rainbow sprinkles, bear claws, maple and so on. Their donuts are delicious and simple. Coffee was hot and fresh. Support the locally owned shops like the Donut Wheel and the community will benefit.

Underwhelming. Got a chocolate iced donut and glazed donut holes to sample both. I felt like I was eating iced air that I could hardly taste. I also got an iced mocha which was quite disgusting. Tasted more like caramel and very fake. At least the staff is friendly!

The donuts aren’t the issue driving my 3 stars. If anything, best donuts in town. Fluffy, good glaze, and it’s not overly chewy.
My gripes come with the service and the selection. If you’re hoping for a wide variety, Donut Wheel isn’t the right location. You’re looking at 12-14 types of donuts here, with only about 6 of those being non-fancy. But, if you’re only wanting glazed or donut holes, Donut Wheel is perfectly fine.
Every time I have visited, my order has been messed up by at least one donut. This last time I visited, I asked for a dozen donuts, one of which was Bavarian cream. They initially put two Bavarian cream donuts in the box, and I clarified I only wanted one.
What they did was take out both, and when I asked for my last donut, placed two of that kind inside instead. Because I didn’t see the inside of the box before she taped it up, I assumed she understood what I was saying and correctly replaced the second Bavarian with my other choice of donut.
Doesn’t need to be said that I was upset when I got home and saw two chocolate glazed old fashioned donuts in place of both Bavarian donuts. To top it off, the old fashioned donuts tasted like they were made yesterday, and the chocolate glaze was crunchy and off in taste.
I think I’ll be taking my donut desires to Alvernon Donuts.

Fresh fresh fresh fried donuts(: takes me back to my childhood & my mother would fry us kids donut balls from biscuits. I was always so eager to learn & watch her use a soda bottle cap to make the balls! It was so cool watching her do that from something you’d normally throw in the trash when finished consuming. But that woman put it to use! Lol. Brings back memories that I thought had faded.
