Valentine’s Bakery Reviews

Worst tamales I’ve had in my life! The masa was slimy, so they’re either undercooked or someone spilled water on them. The pork was flavorless. Never eating here again.

Arianna Modesto

Be careful with your food. A worm was cooked into our tamal and the gentleman said it was “seasoning”

I used to love coming here often. I understand prices everywhere have gone up and I’m all about supporting locally owned, but $1.50 for 1 pan dulce. That’s just ridiculous. And to top it off my cookies and bread were hard when I got home. I should have checked my bag before leaving We asked about the prices and they blamed it on the pandemic which didn’t make sense since they were open and super busy every time we passed through there. Oh well.

This place use to be very good. What happen? Did they change owners or did they get to confident and start price gauging. There’s something about their sweet bread. Can’t put my finger on it, but it’s not as good as it use to be 2 years ago and their menudo, they don’t clean it as good as they use too and too much water not enough red chili. Not to mention the prices. $1.25 for a donut! Nope last time i come here. There are better places out there who still have reasonable prices

Always good when.it comes to sweet bread and other baked goods….Burrito are huge and bit pricey but can understand why? Some of the meats are really hot spicewise…..ordered a chili Verde and chicharon….and both were good but got to HOT to eat after awhile. Staff is always courteous and friendly

Well everything is good there bread and food , but after tge pandemic prices rise to the sky. Also they don’t take care anymore the bread when you buy it and mess up all the bread putting one on too of others.
Well they have enough client so whi care!

Amazing food and pan dulce!! Everything here is delicious!!!

The worst menudo I had in years, it’s badly cooked and it’s mostly pozole and bad caldo, the meat is horrible. For $8.99 I feel scammed, any other place in El Paso will sell you better menudo.

I didn’t order an entree because the reviews with pictures speak a thousand words. I purchased 20 pastries…not worth $1.50 a piece. Also, the broads that were “despachando” were kinda rude. IDK why people have early morning jobs if they’re gonna have Monday afternoon attitudes. My advice, hit Bowie, Albertsons or even Krispy Kreme for your pastries. ✌

Excellent burritos and tortas loaded with meat, Chile, avocado, etc. We love thai bbn place. Great food, pastries
