Twisted Donuts & Coffee Reviews

This place is donut heaven. Clean workplace and great costumer service. They have all kinds of donuts and all of them taste delicious. This is a great option if you like mochi donuts and your friends don’t. I have to admit that I ended up in this place because I was going to get coffee across the street but the place was closed. Im glad that happened! I have to say that the coffee is not the best(not bad tho) but as you noticed the main thing about the place are the donuts. I’ll be coming back to get more dozens of donuts specially the filled ones everything was very yummy and fresh.
Support local come here, you won’t regret it.

Really liked the selection and the staff honestly seemed concerned with provided good recommendations based off our preferences. I had the lemon/blueberry and coconut cake donuts while my friend got two vegan donuts. Went great with home roasters across the street and tasted super fresh. Very pleased!

What a super yummy donut place! If you never try Mochi donuts yet. This is the place to try them out. I love their ube Mochi donuts, they are so light but at the same time so flavorful. They are also not too sweet. By the way, their cream puffs are super super delicious as well. You have to check out this donut spot!

I’m from Jersey and we have plenty of Karen’s, seems like they follow me around lol jk. This is the best donut shop in SF. Come on Karen, you know you love Dunkin Donuts and Pizza. This place has the best donut I ever had. A bacon covered caramel donut. Enjoy honey!

I went on a Sunday morning. I asked for a dozen assorted donuts and did not care what kind they were. When I got home they were great. My family loved the donuts.

But, when I arrived, there were two people working behind the counter. One looked like a manager. The tall cashier person was not to enthusiastic about working there. He sounded very depressed like he did not care about anything. He did his job and that was it. The vibe he had made ordering the donuts a downer for me. Maybe just having a neutral attitude would have helped.

It could have been a bad day for the employee so I’m willing to give it another chance.

I’m glad Twisted Coffee and Donuts is not near my . Otherwise, it would be hard for me from going several times a week!

I ordered a few donut and a cream puff. The cream puff w/ Bavarian cream was very delicious! The coconut raised Guava was my favorite and is offered only on the weekends. As a matter of fact, I don’t remember ever eating a Guava flavored donut anywhere else!

I pre-ordered on their website online and they text you once it is ready at your specified time for pick up. Social distancing enforced w/ 2 person inside. Hand sanitizers available. Moderate difficulty with street parking.

I had the pleasure of dropping by on Sunday 7/17/22 and got a chance to try out their double sided glaze + chocolate dipped donuts, old fashioned and Ube donuts with coconut flakes! I enjoyed all of it! Keep up the great work!

Donuts: 4/5
Service: 5/5
Ambiance: 3/5
Overall: A good option for some more unique flavors. Yummy!

The extended review…

Donuts:

Churro De Leche – 4/5 – This was a very interesting selection. A donut with cinnamon sugar and sliced in half with some dolce spread in between the two halves. A nice rendition of a churro for sure.

Lemon Blueberry Buttermilk – 4/5 – Can’t go wrong with a nice buttermilk. It had a nice crispy exterior and soft interior. Quite a nice compliment of flavors as well.

Black Sesame Mochi – 4/5 – A good chewy donut with good flavor on the black sesame glaze.

Service: 4/5 – Super friendly and patient staff that explained the donut flavors which I’m sure can be annoying when repeating oneself.

Ambiance: 3/5 – Not sure if they have seating in non covid times but it’s a normal donut shop.

The staff here is amazingly friendly. I loved Jenny! Smiles and good energy. The donuts are amazing. Whenever I visit a new place, I find legit donuts. These donuts are legit; both the raised and the cake kind!

Trying to support local businesses during this time. I’ve tried their guava coconut donuts (weekends only) as well as their vegan guava and vegan lemon (pictured here). They are all really good. But if the vegan guava tastes this good, I don’t think I will go back to getting non-vegan donuts. I always get a small hazelnut coffee with cream/sugar and it is always made with the perfect amount of cream/sugar/coffee ratio.

They have contactless payment as well and I believe you can order ahead.
