Shares a name with the classic SF institution on Polk Street. Donuts here are super fresh, and the perfect texture.
Would recommend the buttermilk, twist, and malasada (if you’re looking for something less traditional. The guava flavor was ).
Expect a wait in the mornings, especially on the weekends. A great stop before a late morning brunch picnic at Alamo Square Park!

Cute neighborhood donut + pastry shop! The shop, though small, was decorated really well and smelled heavenly. There was a great assortment of donuts as well, from super sweet to savory! The girl at the counter was super sweet as well, which made me like the store even more. I’m assuming this branch is a little less busy than the main one as it seemed to mostly have people in the neighborhood pop in and out for a quick bite/take out.
You can’t go wrong with the original glazed — it’s light and fluffy and just the right amount of sweet. The apple fritter was also good but a bit on the dense side; I wish there was more cinnamon + apples, but it was still well worth the experience. Prices are super reasonable despite being a famous shop! Highly recommended for dessert lovers.

Amazing donuts, 4 vegan options + the apple fritter, which I totally recommend (looks weird but tastes amazing). The woman who served us both times we went was nice. I wish they had filled vegan donuts though.

Bobs on Baker Street what can I say it’s a hidden gem donut spot. The city is not big on donuts. But this spot is one of our best donuts in the city.

Delicious fresh donuts that are always a delight to see all laid out in the trays behind the glass case. Their traditional donuts always leave a sense of satisfaction for me at the first bite. Their special and seasonal flavors are definitely worth a try!

I visited San Fran from the east coast & man so many good baked goods here. The best place I visited was this donut shop that had this amazing Tiger Tail (Cinnamon Roll Twist) which was light & airy & didnt last long for me to finish

Like a Bob’s close to my home. Always had good service at the Polk St store. Did my ‘Free Donut Day’ this Sunday and handed out the dozen along the way home thru Farmers Market at DMV. A nice Sunday.
