Absolutely DELICIOUS little shop! The sausage rolls are AMAZING and the cronuts are melt-in-your mouth delicious. My favorite: the old fashioned sour cream donut with cinnamon. It’s a game changer! On top of the scrumptious eats, the proprietor is delightful. So glad we discovered this wonderful little place!

Found this gem of a place by the house. Introduced Chocolate old fashion donuts to my daughter and we love their chocolate old fashion version here! Definitely will be back to try all of their other versions. Their sausage buns look really good too. Spinach and cream cheese will be my next item to try.

Great donuts and kolaches, the kolaches with breakfast sausage are especially delicious. I also love the owner, they are very friendly and sometimes gives me extra donuts.

Donuts are supposed to be something you grab, hit the sweet tooth, bring a smidge of shame for ruining the diet (again)…they aren’t supposed to make you think about them days later and bring them up in conversation with friends. These are the best cronuts and donuts I’ve ever had. Hands down.

One of the best donut shops in the Frisco area. Love the fruit donut they have and its a right mix of not too sweet, not too rich, but just the right pick me up for any Moring you need it. Plus they have a couple pescatarian options too!

Our family loves donuts and there are a lot of options in Frisco. There’s a decent donut shop within walking distance of my house, but I still choose to drive the 15 minutes it takes for me to get to Star Donuts because theirs are the best. I must pass by a dozen other donut shops on my way and I never even think of stopping. I promise you these are the absolute BEST donuts you will ever eat. Trust me.
The mom and daughter who own this shop, show up every night, all night to make the food and you can tell because their donuts are so fresh. They’re light and airy and perfectly delicious. Both women are beyond sweet and helpful. Truly great customer service each and every time we go there. I have never been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered ever. Their consistency in the quality of their food is one you could bet on and never lose. They make a few specialty gourmet donuts just got fun, try one, you won’t be disappointed. These wonderful ladies KNOW how to bake.
Please try Star Donuts. With so many amazing restaurants closing down because of Covid, it would be a true shame to lose a place this good. I don’t write a lot of reviews, but when food is this tasty, they deserve to be praised. Thank you Star Donuts for your unwavering excellence in food day in and day out. Your donuts are heavenly. Please never leave Frisco.

Very friendly staff! I was already pleasantly surprised that they were open on Jan 1st. Was more surprised with how good the food and service were. I live in Houston, so I can’t visit here often, but I would if I could.

This is our favorite Donut Shop! Donuts always taste fresh and kolaches are delicious! The owner is very sweet and works so hard to ensure the shop is spotless and minimal pay extra attention to current god service conditions.
We’ve had other donuts at nearby shops but you can taste they don’t change their oil (donuts have that tinge of old/rancid oil taste) often enough.
Our favorites are the original glazed and blueberry cake donut. Make sure you get extra kolaches- we never get enough and fight over the last ones!

Cute little place, super friendly, great selection of deliciousness.
Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a jalapeno croissant sausage roll type thing or a glazed old fashioned donut.
Will definitely be back.

We love their kolaches, sausage rolls, and donuts. If you’re in the neighborhood you must try them out. They are open every day at 5am.
