Wish I could afford to shop here, because they have a good selection, better produce, and their deli’s fried chicken is the best in town. Although, sadly, last time I visited – in the morning – the deli was closed “due to staffing shortages”.
The best thing I have found about this store is their commitment to obtaining locally-sourced produce. They are the ONLY store that still stocks Jonathan Apples, from a local orchard, in the fall.
So yes, Schnuck’s high prices send me back to the more competitively-priced Kroger and Walmart. While Hy-vee is still THE most unreasonably overpriced store in town, Schnuck’s is still not competitive with Walmart. And Walmart gives you free curbside pickup. Too bad Walmart – a mega-corporation – with produce that tastes like cardboard, has better prices, and with runaway inflation we need to get our groceries cheaper.

Very clean. Good meet selection. Very easy to find food aisles. Friendly staff. Good area and very close to our home. By far my favorite grocery store. Prices are more high, but at the end if the day you get what you pay for. And I’d say it’s good quality.

this review is only based upon the deli . Lived in the area 2 years now no one there can slice lunchmeat correctly why? lack of training ? your store is only as good as the leadership.

I usually only shop for meat and sales here because normal pricing is way higher than Walmart or Kroger, they do have a good deal with the 4/$20 meat but the selection usually is very slim if any. Store is clean and well stocked. I do like that kids get 1 free piece of fruit also.

It may seem silly, but their carts are awesome. Very helpful and friendly. Have several items other stores do not have but found several things that were a dollar cheaper.
