The basic cinnamon rolls are very good. They are large, made with plenty of cinnamon, and have a thick layer of sweet frosting. If the frosting is too sweet for your taste, it’s very easy to scrape some of it off. Also, there are other cinnamon rolls that they make that have more of a glaze, or a pecan-caramel type of coating. The price is a little on the high side, but I bought 7 rolls and received one free. I would definitely go back again!

The smells!!!! What a great local baker with a wide selection of choices! Chocolate Babka bread, cinnamon rolls, cookies, breads, sandwiches! Amazing!

We went here for national sticky bun day (one day early technically). These are among the best sticky bun / cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

We have always gone to Rise Up and have had their wheat rolls, breads, pastries, and cookies, but today we decided to try their sandwiches the club and the turkey both on sub rolls and wow they are delicious. I know their breads a great, but the sub rolls had such a good flavor that complimented the other ingredients and the amount and taste of the meats, cheese, and other toppings were great. The employees are always nice and ready to take your order and the place is always clean even with the work being done to expand the store. Always a great place to stop at.

I really wanted to love this place. The staff was so sweet and it smells amazing inside. I ordered a peach cinnamon roll, a raspberry scone, and a cookie to surprise my son with after school. Halfway through the cinnamon roll I found a hair in it that was definitely not mine. I told a staff member and she was very nice, she even gave me a new cinnamon roll to take home. When I gave my son his cookie I tore a piece off to try it and there was a piece of fuzz baked into it. This might have been forgiveable if I hadn’t already had a pastry with a hair in it. That being said, the cinnamon rolls and cookie did taste good. Not amazing but good. The raspberry scone was just okay to me. It had a raspberry glaze on the top but no berries baked into the actual inside of the scone. It is also a bummer they don’t have coffee. If they ever add it maybe we would give it another try. I hope our visit was just bad luck but we will likely not return.

My mother found this bakery a few years before she passed away. She absolutely fell in love. My son and I have continued to visit Rise Up. There is not one thing there that we haven’t fallen in love with. The honey wheat rolls, sugar cookies, oatmeal cookies, the scones, oh my goodness the cinnamon rolls and so much more. The lastest love for my son and I is the chocolate chip cookie. Oh, the chocolate chip cookie is amazing. The bakery is very clean and they are expanding. With no mess!!! The people who work in there are young, but don’t let age fool you. The are sweet and helpful. I thought a long time ago that it was too costly, but I was wrong. For the quality everything is worth it. I have checked out other bakeries and none compare!!!

WOW! I mean WOW! First of all, the bakery is just beautiful inside. Second, bring an appetite! After I stopped drooling over everything, I remembered that I was there to buy some carrot cake cupcakes for my best friend’s birthday. I found Rise Up Bakery online and called to see if they put raisins in their cupcakes. They did not. This was a specific request of my friend. I am new to the area and did not know any of any bakeries. I definitely picked a great one. Give it a try!

Great neighborhood bakery! Lots of different bread and it’s all wonderful, as are the cookies and other treats. They would be perfect if they sold hamburger and hot dog buns so I hope the owner is listening. Thanks Rise Up for being in our neighborhood.

Their cinnamon rolls are what they are known for, and for very good reason! They are large, have lots of frosting(an additional side of frosting is available for a bit extra), and are excellent. They are a bit pricey, but my motto is that, in most establishments, you get what you pay for. There are always exceptions, but certainly not here. The only other items I’ve had from Rise Up are several varieties of their cookies, and they were all excellent. They also have many varieties of bread and a large selection of other pastries as well. If you are looking for such items, I would recommend this quaint little bakery to anyone.

I have been vacationing in Mesa for almost a month. I found Rise Up about a week after I got here. Since then I have been going every two or three days to pick up either a cinnamon roll or orange roll. My sister loves their lemon blueberry roll. These are by far the best rolls from a bakery I have ever had. I love love love them.
