We came near the closing time, so there weren’t many things left. I grabbed a raspberry filled chocolate cake. It is absolutely delicious. The raspberry spread inside tastes like fresh raspberries. The frosting isn’t too rich and overpowering. All around, I am very happy with my purchase, and I will be returning to try more things.

The bakery was great except I wish they would date their products. I picked up some brownies that seemed a little dry. But the Danishes that I got were delicious and tasted fresh.

I’ll give it 5 stars because I have gone in there several times. Had a cake from there for my birthday before. But as you can see in the picture, (the pic displays when I do the review) the Liquor Store is attached to it, and I was actually getting wine next door. Lol. And what else is great about this spot is, it’s immediately next to the bike trail which I frequent.

i live close by and stopped in one day. the parking lot is usually empty so i thought id support the small buiness. went in and got 2 sets of cookies. prices were great for what i got. went home to try them and man they were amazing cookies. i have to go back and try the other stuff. the sea salt carmel cookies were dangerously addictive.

Love this place! Bakery items are delicious & the people are very nice. The only problem is that they quickly run out because EVERYONE loves their products.

Fantastic classic bakery! These are hard to find. Great selection and great prices. Recommend the glazed croissant!

Great customer service!! So nice to be able to support local and small shops. Everything I purchased was outstanding! Prices were very fair. Highly recommend this bakery.

I’ve been enjoying this Gladstone/Maplewood Bakery for over 40 yrs. Not sure if ownership has changed or not. I had moved away & now I’m back. Used to be the bakery and a small grocery with liquor on far left end of bldg. Liquor store is now where grocery store was and far left sits empty.

They are friendly and make some great doughnuts. Occasionally I’ll get some dry items post-morning rush.
Unsolicited advice (take or leave it just ideas I had): I think they could add some foot traffic with a little more rotation in their product line. New products during holidays or special events, weekend sales to drive recurring customers; add new flavors & recipes to bring in the millennals (matcha, lavendar, white chocolate, birthday cake, mango or sriracha, etc). I lived across the street from shop in Madison that did this and they had some cool treats during different times of year.

Picked up a dozen donuts for work. Price was fair. Everyone commented on how delicious they were.
