Lil’ Orbits Cafe Reviews

This place is amazing. It is a hidden gem – the best pasta I’ve had in all of Honolulu. It’s casual and cute. Everything I seem to try from this place always impresses me, from the dishes, to the coffee, and even the assortment of fresh donuts. The lady in charge makes everything with such care that everything feels and tastes like a home-made meal. As mush as I want to keep this place all to my self, I think the people of Hawaii deserve to try this food and be as impressed as I am. Thank you to the owner for working through some challenging times during this pandemic and being so great at it!

Had to stop by in the area a couple months ago to run an errand and was hungry so I popped in this café just to take a look at what kind of food they had. Absolutely LOVED their pasta, i gulped it down before my uber even arrived lol! I love pasta & this was one of the best I had on the island. The woman who helped me was generous enough and gave me an extra garlic bread too! Awesome service and BOMB food. Going to try and get me some again this weekend..

Here in the Islands, we do things a certain way, a throwback to a time when people knew everyone, where you can go down the street and say hi to folks without worrying about whether they will be friendly or not.

Today, Hawai’i has changed, particularly Oahu. More people, more traffic, more issues. But I am grateful – and humbled – to see the acts of kindness that continue to happen in my community, despite all that has changed.

This morning, I called Lil Orbits to check if they were still on Uber Eats. The person who answered happened to be the owner of the cafe, and she explained that she has stopped using Uber Eats because Lil Orbits was not losing money by using that service. I listened and told her I understood and that I wasn’t aware that her restaurant was losing money with Uber.

And then she offered to deliver my food directly to my home (located in Manoa Valley).

I texted her my order and we exchanged messages via text.

We need to do more to support our local businesses, businesses like Lil Orbits Cafe. Not only is their food delicious, but I have experienced some of the friendliest customer service that I have experienced, even here in the Islands!

I am touched that a business owner would go out of their way to make sure that I can receive my order, even if I have to use delivery.

Lil’ Orbits is a throwback to the way we used to do things here in the Islands, where everyone who lives and visits these Islands is treated like Ohana.

And I sincerely hope, especially during these challenging and uncertain times, that we can maintain – and foster – our Aloha Spirit.

At first I thought they just did donuts, but my curiosity got the best of me and glad it did. The staff was friendly and very informative. I was craving Filipino food and this was one of the dishes I’ve been wanting without having to go to Kalihi or Waipahu for it. The food was good and the cost wasn’t bad either. I’ll be back to try the $5 bentos.

I love Li’l Orbit’s Cafe; The food and customer service are great. The Italian lunch special is so flavorful the mini donuts last time I was there I ordered 1 dozen mini donuts of berrylicious fresh fruits toppings.
