Tasty baked goods located on the Ewa wing of Ala Moana Shopping Center. Friendly staff and interesting selection of baked goods. A must try is their Honey Toast Bread. Great with coffee.

Delicious baked goodies! We got the cream cheese croffle and vanilla custard cronut. We wanted the crème brûlée croffle and fresh cream cronut but they were out.. at 11 AM on a Saturday. Maybe next time we go we’ll get lucky. Both baked goods were delicious. I can’t pick which one was my favorite as they both had good qualities about them.

Ordered iced cafe latte – nice and had a sort of mocha taste to it. Coffee and the food were reasonably priced.

Great location and the decor is warm and inviting. They currently have a 2 hour dine in limit however. There’s a potential for this bakery to be a coffee shop type of place where people can work/study.

I’m thrilled to see the selection of their baked goods and I’m looking forward to trying them out next time.

Been to Surfe’rs twice now. The first time for the Korean version of mango shave ice, which was very underwhelming. I ordered a large, they gave me a small. Luckily they only charged me for the small. That said, it’s really small. There was almost more mango syrup than there was ice.

The second time I went to try the mentaiko baguette. This dried husk of what felt like an old yoga mat was beyond utterly disappointing. I wouldn’t call it a baguette. It tasted $2 Walmart French bread that was bought on clearance then stored in the back for a week before spread with the mentaiko aioli and put out for sale. I had to tear at this thing like a viscous dog to get a bite off. I’ve never regretted wasting $7 so much in my life. They would be unable to sell this poor of quality in Korea. They’d be out of business in a month. Not sure why they think they can do it here. I’m predicting a short life span for surfer’s unless they drastically improve their quality.

Relaxing please to take rest between shopping. Coffee latte is too dark. Latte machine not always working

Good baked goods; the coffee wasn’t for us. Wife got the creme roll and thought it was very good. I got a latte. The espresso or coffee component was microwaved in a large mug and poured into warmed milk then stirred thoroughly. Neither of us cared for their version of a latte and we tossed it.

Brug < JJ Bakery < Surfer's Bakery Surfer's doesn't have a large selection of baked goods but everything they make is delicious, especially their breakfast sandwich and sausage, cheese, potato croissant. Friendly staff plus they have a military discount. I hope they fill some of their empty space with more food varieties or seating.

Very good service, extremely nice staff. Some of the best matcha in Ala Moana. They gave us a free pastry!!! Gave my younger brother a strawberry shake and the peace and quiet is wonderful. The free wifi , good food and amazing environment is everything and more that a person could want from a bakery. Will be coming back!!!

It’s spacious and bright . Better than other coffee shops to meet friends with . Pastures are real good!

Surfers bakery what is this thing. I buy these all the time and this one is by far the smallest and not worth the almost $6 we paid. Not sure what’s going on with quality control but it needs to step up

I’d pass by this place every time and wanted to try for some time. We finally made it a mission to try this place and came little after opening hoping to catch the freshest bake, specially the croffle.

I was looking forward to trying the croffle since I LOVE croissant and I love waffles. So I got the chocolate croffle which looked amazing, but the taste and texture felt short. Because I came at opening time, I expected the baked goods, especially the croffle to taste fresh as I have worked at a bakery before. However, the croffle tasted stale, and it was hard to even chew on. I have never not finished any kind of croissant before, including cruffins and cronuts from other bakeries because that’s how much I love croissants. But this was the first time I had to throw away a croissant baked good because it was just inedible.

We did enjoy the savory baked goods we got, which were the egg toast and the sausage croissant.

Still debating if I want to give it a second chance.
