There always is a long line but it moves. It’s worth the wait. Pastries are so fresh and flavorful. I had Kona cold brew and it was great. The portions are smaller for the price but it’s Waikiki. Outdoor seating facing street was maybe for 8-10 people at most and attracted many pigeons and sparrows. There also is a large table seating in the mall side for those who are scared of birds flying to snatch your pastries. Lol

Kona Coffee is a must visit spot for any coffee lover. I’m from Portland OR where we have good coffee shops on every corner so it was nice to have some high quality coffee while on vacation. The pastry’s were delicious especially the ham and cheese croissant. The goal on this trip is to try every pastry they offer because so far everything has been 10/10.

One of the best coffee roasters in town. They have a collaboration with b.pattiserie from San Francisco. The coffee beans are sourced directly from farmers in Hawaii, so expect to pay premium prices especially for Kona coffee. They have a coffee tasting bar where you can try all the varietals before you commit to paying for their beans. Really great addition. Only giving it 4 stars because the lineup in the morning is ridiculously long. Probably better to go during the day.

Coffee is good but for all that wait? Not sure. Visited early in the morning still took 30 min to get two cups of coffee and two pastries. If not such long wait, it’s a good place to go. The award winning pastry was good. Quite crispy (butter) and black sesame paste was not too sweet. The whole bean prices are quite high vaguely remembering them being $35-45.

Line up is long, but worth the wait if you plan on getting more items than just for your own consumption. My wife and I got an assortment of pastries to share with family. To me, the pastries were better than the coffee. They were excellent even when compared to great bakeries back on the mainland. I’ve had good Kona coffee before and the coffee here isn’t significantly better or worse, so don’t bother unless you get pastries. Don’t get me wrong; the coffee is excellent. Not sure if a single cup of coffee is worth the line up. But if you do just a cup of coffee, here’s a pro tip: line up here and also order online for the noodle place across the street at the same time. Once you’re done here, go across the street and pick up your order where all the delivery guys pick up. You’ll avoid 2 line ups, get a great Kona coffee, and you’ll get a delicious take out lunch.

You have to try this place! The coffee is so good and the bakery is so tasty, not sweet not greedy. But really tasteful with many choices. Pineapple croissant is definitely a must try! Very Hawaiian special

The line is worth it. Use the time to decide what pastries and coffee you’re going to get. Every pastry we got was delicious and we tried 8! From the croissant to the Kouign Amman. Worth every minute. I ordered an iced honey oat latte as well and was pleasantly surprised. After we ordered we received the pastries right away and then the coffee very quickly after.

Amazing pastries all fresh baked at this location. Best bakery we found in Honolulu and highly recommend this place. The line is usually long but we found that it moves fast and is well worth the wait. The ham and cheese croissant was so cheesy and delicious and the chocolate chip cookie was out of this world. This place is a can’t miss restaurant for breakfast.

The line is very long in the morning, if you just want to try the coffee, go afternoon instead of the morning rush.
Maybe I am not that great at the coffee tasting, their nitro cold brew is not much different than Starbucks’.
Overall experience is good, will return to try the different drink and their pastry.

It’s a really long wait. I got there before 7 and still waited around 45 minutes just to get some pasties. They were all really delicious! But not sure it was worth the price or the wait. The banana chocolate croissant, blueberry muffin and the flan tart were my favourite.
