Horizon Star Bakery Reviews

Good burritos! The sweet bread is delicious and a huge portion! Menudo is great saturdays and Sundays!

My first time here. Loved the empanadas.
And the chocolate glazed deep fried donuts were so good. Atleast I think they are deep fried.
Pumpkin reminds me of my grandmother.
But she loved to use pecans in her filling.
I also bought a bunch of burritos.
The Asadas and red Chile ones were the bomb. Thank you to Emma, our dogs loved the pup cupcakes(pupcakes).

Have lived in the Horizon area for a little over 6 years. This bakery has been my favorite place to get my sweet bread fix. I have also ordered for work functions and found staff friendly and helpful. They are quick to take large orders. Especially for thier wedding cookies. These were a large success for Christmas. Nothing that I have ordered has ever been overpriced, which is why I continue going to this bakery again and again. I have ordered their burritos, I love that they always ask if i want beans in them.. Nothing I’ve bought over these 6 years has ever been bad. Keep up the good work.

Awesome traditional pan dulce bakery. Try the arracada. They also have bolillo bread and sell hand made flour tortillas. For lunch, they have tortas and burritos. My favorite is carne deshebrada.

Roberto

Lousy service, expensive and watered down menudo with days old bread. Never again!!!

Don’t understand bad reviews, yes they are very busy on Sundays, (good food) staff is always friendly, and the Tamales… Best in town. lots of meat.
Good burritos baked goods. Worth the wait.

Good bread, but the menudo was horrible. We used to loved it. Not anymore, it now taste like the one u buy in can from the store. Very disappointing.

This is the white bread that they gave me with my menudo, the bread they can’t sell and that you do not see because, you trust the quality.

Joe Montoya

Man there menudo is as good as my moms. Wow

First time at this place. Stood in line for 30 minutes, met some wonderful ladies who shared how amazing this place was. One of Horizon’s best kept secrets. Pozole is super tasty and clean. The barbacoa, picadillo, and bean burritos were delicious. And the sweet bread… You have to give it a try.
