Fray’s Donut House Reviews

My husband and I were visiting St. Pete and it was hard not to order one of everything. The best deal for breakfast sandwiches, (very large!), we definitely split that and a cronut, and a jelly-filled. We got a cinnamon bun for later at the beach. Nice patio with umbrellas. The coffee was great and the staff were kind and patient with us first-timers. We can’t wait to come back! On a Sunday in early June at 9:30 am there was a rush of like 5 people, but otherwise steady, no wait. Highly recommend

Let me just sum this up real quick by saying I’ve never been to a Fray’s donut house except one time before here and it was great so I thought of course it must be a fluke it’s my first time let me go back one more time this time I got something different and oh my God for the prices it’s amazing the people are so wonderful and I can tell you by far this is the best donut I’ve had and to me I love Krispy Kreme but today I’m going to say sorry fray’s donut has got my attention 100%. If you’re in the area and you can make it before 12:00 stop in and see fray don’t forget to tip them because it’s worth every freaking penny! By the way disregard the half eaten donut I could not wait it’s so freaking amazing

Wonderful spot!! Delightful staff, very tasty breakfast bagels (lots to choose from), super fresh donuts and one of the best iced coffees I’ve ever had – all very reasonably priced. Drive thru and also a nice outdoor patio.

Ok so I used to love this place because it’s so close to me. Last week I ordered a ham/egg/cheese bagel. Got home to see they gave me a plain bagel with plain cream cheese. Let it go and didn’t make a fuss of it. Today I go and order a few different items thinking it can’t happen again. Order was completely messed up. Noting toasted as asked for. Breakfast sandwiches cold and I waited 20 min.

Delicious chicken salad croissant and breakfast croissant.
We want to come back there to try the sweets.

Best iced latte in town! Strong & good flavor. They use a Colombian espresso. At every other cafe in town I always have to add an extra shot. Here I don’t have to.

Great Donuts! Slow service and you have to question why they limited us on the number of plain bagels they would allow us to purchase! Their comment that if they sold us a dozen then they wouldn’t have enough for later customers! Doesn’t make sense but hey if that’s their business model, good luck to them.

Went very early after leaving from the airport. Donuts were hard and the pumpkin latte I ordered, she forgot to put the espresso in, so I got pumpkin milk and didn’t realize for a good 20 minutes after I left when it cooled down some. Certainly wouldn’t make it my first choice to stop again but it was the only place open in the 545am hour.

I recently reviewed here with small star. I apologize. I didn’t understand the to go policy, which is my fault and issue. Not theirs. This is a great establishment with wonderful food and the service is equally matched. Just don’t ask for any orders to go is all. Mom and pop shop w great biscuits and gravy, breakfast sandwiches, bagels and of course their donuts. Solid prices for quality food.

Best donuts around. Better than dunkin and krispy creme. Apple fritters to die for. Quick takeout window
