Tl;dr – They don’t fill their donuts anymore, and the quality has gone down.
I’ve been going to SPBC on either Saturday or Monday mornings since we moved here (6 years). If you get filled Long John’s, don’t expect them to be filled more than about a quarter inch into the donut. I’ve actually brought this up to the manager before and they apologized, but that was it, and it never changed. Unfortunately, there aren’t any other decent donut shops here, so I’m stuck with them. In the past two years or so (I remember it was pre-covid), the workers have become less kind. Not a dealbreaker for me, I know working sucks, but it’s something to note. They definitely don’t make me want to come back, and neither do the donuts. Just the lack of another local shop does. If you don’t mind a drive, I would highly recommend somewhere else.

The cronuts are AMAZING. I had the lox bagel- very good! My husband had a egg and cheese croissant that looked delicious and he liked it. Their coffee is so fresh and they ground it in house. You know it’s good when you say “we will be back before we go home!” Wish we had St. Pete Bagel Co back home!

I have been there twice within a week for breakfast and once for lunch. The bagel with cream cheese and lox was very good. I also got the tuna salad on wheat bread and it was delightful. I tend to go there for either bagels or a sandwich and am always very happy. It is nice to get a meal that is good quality.

Great little place for breakfast and coffee…they actually had banana fritters…and they were delicious. Also I had a bacon egg and cheese croissant and a salted caramel frappe…all were tasty.

First time here. Lunches look good, but I was only there for a cup of coffee. Self serve. Little interaction with staff. Counter seems like a walled barrier. Staff hidden. It was ok.

Amazing! Absolutely ridiculously delicious breakfast sandwich and coffee. I came here on a whim. I don’t live near here and I’m ready to sell my house and move closer just so I can eat here every morning!

Went to get bagels and a couple muffins this am at 6 am you would think everything would be fresh NOPE !! What a disappointment. Cold, hard bagels and muffins yummy!! Waste of money

Patiently waited in line to order a bacon egg & cheese croissant. When I got my food I realized something was not right with the eggs. come to find out they are microwaving the eggs. It was straight up nasty ! Microwaved eggs are a big no no

We have been going here for years with my family! The donuts are amazing and there’s always a line to the door!! Highly recommend. The owner is the sweetest and has supplied me with donuts through three pregnancies with donut cravings
