What a gem of a place. The donuts are absolutely amazing. We halos had the charities, egg, potato and bean burrito. It tasted a little bland.

This place has delicious food all around. Delicious burritos, tamales, menudo, posole and more. It’s been around for a long time and I can see why after today’s visit. I don’t go more often since I’m usually not up early enough to avoid the long line. Bring your patience, I was there by 8am (Sunday)and it still took about 30minutes beginning to end. I must say worth the wait. Huevo con chorizo burrito was great, tried thir new arriero burrito (beans, chicharron, pork.meat, green chile)delicious but needed more meat in my opinion. The red tamales get 5 stars for sure, perfectly filled, not too greasy, hot and freshly made. The sweet bread (pan dulce) was fantastic too. Nothing like freshly made conchas! Their pam dulce bread is a bit more expensive compared to other panaderias (bakeries)around the area and the prices are not posted for the bread so be ready to pay about $15 or more for the dozen. I should have asked for the prices and I didnt take the receipt but I’m pretty sure most pieces of bread were about $1 or more a piece. Give them a visit I know I will, again.

Delicious pastries of all kinds and flavors the staff is friendly and helpful. They also sell menudo and tamales. The cheesecake is rich and creamy delicioso.

The food and the bread are good but it’s just crazy how packed it gets in there with customers. They should staff more people especially on the weekends. There is an extra charge for using your credit/debit card which is crazy to me because we live in the 21st century and no one carries cash anymore. I would give it a higher rating if it wasn’t for the extra charge.

Top 3 best Mexican Bakeries I have ever been to. Traditional mexican sweet bread and the most fresh and light Pan Blanco ever. All in a very clean and modern building. Super nice and helpful staff. Plus they have burritos! Yes actual burritos, not tacos for those used to Tex-Mex. Made with fresh in house made flour tortillas. Try the Barbacoa, Chile Relleno, or Chicharonne burrito. For sweet bread I recommend Pumpkin empanadas or any donut and espnoja/concha. If you pay cash you wont get charged the credit debit service fee of 4% so be prepared. They also have tamales pretty much year round. A cute little covered patio also for when that becomes an option again. 10 out of 10 do recommend.

Best bakery in town, with short wait times (even on sundays) and delicious breads. They create their own flavors of donuts and most of the time they’re great, & their menudo is some of the best I’ve tasted. Definitely recommend for anyone

Their pastries (pan dulce) are yummy, especially their donuts. All their lunch burritos are really tasty. I recently tried the breakfast egg with chorizo and potatoes burrito and it was bland. There is no chorizo, it’s like a powder “flavor” added to the egg; not tasty. Their menudo is the same, really spicy but no flavor because it’s a powder mix too. If all you want is spice and no homemade flavor than it’ll be fine. Posole is ok. Their salpicon salads are super yummy especially with their tostadas (skip the dressing that comes with it). Sunday mornings are ALWAYS busy, so be prepared for a wait, or schedule accordingly. Their staff is fast and friendly. There’s a convient patio to sit and enjoy your food and drink. I use to work on that side of town and would call my order in to pick up before heading into work (not sure if they still do that).

Food is great! But unfortunately since there so busy over the weekend they do not take phone orders. Would be great if they were to hire more people to take care of phone orders as well!

I’ll start with the positive before I get into the negative of this place. The establishment was very clean and the gentleman was as helpful as he could be. So went into the bakery first time (last time after this incident) with the intention of buy my baby a cookie and my friends and family some sweets, I asked a young extremely rude young lady the prices and she rolled her eyes and proceeded to tell me the price as it bothered her. I thought to myself maybe she’s having a bad day ill give it to her life’s been rough lately….. There was a young man working with her who saw and noticed the attitude so then I asked him for help and sadly he didn’t know the price and had to ask the young lady and she threw the dounut tray on the counter with attitude and rolled her eyes and told me the price. I know it seems minor and petty that I make such a big deal but whatever happened to customer service, greet your potential clients with a smile and ask how may I help you, simple common etiquette. El Prado lost a customer today may not be a big deal but I will let everyone I know and work with this young lady has horrible customer service. So sad I was really looking forward to trying it.

I give a 3 star rating for customer service because I believe the lady that attended us was rude like in a bad mood. Her name is Nereida, so if she’s attending you expect a bad attitude.
This was my first time here. I’ll definitely go back
For the Bakery…..taste and look of the place I’ll rate it a 10.
