Dough Reviews

Big Wally

Dough is more than a bakery. Owned and operated by Datz, next door. Donuts and other baked goods, gourmet hand crafted coffee, and gifts. Great place for a desert and coffee.

The carrot cake and red velvet is good…but I wasn’t too happy with my peanut butter fudge brownie, it was very packy.I’m pretty sure the rest of their desserts are worth the try plus this is a cute place.

I’m always looking for donuts when I travel, so this was a natural place to stop for us.

We tried these donuts:
– Fruity Pebbles
– Apple Pie
– PB&J

They were all good, but not great. I loved the peanut butter, but the jelly was not very good. The apple pie was glazed the best. The fruity pebbles had pretty good flavor.

I wouldn’t say they’re worth the hype of every TV show they say they’ve been on, but they were good.

Mid July update. CLDEALS website has a $20 for $40 special. Dough is one of 4 deals I bought and today I went and got my $40 worth of tantalizing goodies.

Lured me in with chicken and floored me with the desserts. A huge variety of beautiful and decadent desserts that will tame any palate and squash any of those deep dark desires. Must go!!!

Worth ordering from here if your catering! I ordered 90 doughnuts for my wedding, the doughnuts were a hit! They were FRESH and delicious, all of my guests kept asking where I ordered the doughnuts from. As far as service, I received a quick response for my inquiry, I was asked all the important questions and even able to pay for my order at my own convenience since I moved out of FL. Highly recommend if you need catering 🙂

Way overpriced for mediocre dessert. Plenty of other local options for FRESH and delicious desserts in Tampa.
Has definitely gone downhill over the last few years. Donuts are dry, like they’re made days before and I used to love their fruity pebbles ice cream but now it’s basically way overpriced vanilla (10% fruity pebbles). Sad to say goodbye to a place I frequented for almost a decade.

What a fun selection of desserts?!
The team offered us a sample of a brownie when we walked in that was stellar so we ordered that after trying it.
We ordered a Banana Cream doughnut, a Cherry Pie doughnut and some cheesecake.
The ice cream flavors were unique too. We saw a Bourbon Orange flavor that sounds neat that we may have to wait ’til next time to try.

Return customer ordered a piece of cookie dough cake. One can tell it was a couple days old. Icing was separating from cake. Then find out there salads and sandwiches were moved next door was a complete bust for those costumers that need a quick turnaround. Please go back to the original set up and fresh bakery items.

Stopped in on a very quick trip to Tampa and Dough did not disappoint! We had red velvet cheesecake and peanut butter brownie, both of which were absolutely decadent and divine. We also loved the eclectic interior!

Got 2 cookies there to surprise my wife with. The red velvet chocolate chunk and a chocolate chip cookie. The chocolate chip cookie tasted like it was 2-3 days old but still edible. The red velvet one was stale and hard and probably a week old. Probably won’t be coming back here after that experience. If I pay that much for a cookie it should at least be no older than 1 day.
