Alimama Tea Reviews

Popular place for really pretty drinks and sweet treats. When I stopped by there wasn’t a line and it was easy to order at the kiosk. The employees were really friendly and my order was ready pretty quickly. I really enjoyed the taro munchkins and they have a bunch of cream puffs to choose from! I got the yuzu flavor which was good but would fry a different one next time. They also have a bunch of different drinks to choose from. Fun place to try if you’re in the area!!

Truly amazing! The mochi donut was mind blowing. The glaze was exceptional!

I ordered also a detox tea. The flavor was very refreshing although I would have preferred a little more sweet. I ordered less sweet, so that’s on me. So if you want it sweeter like me, regular should be good!

It such a beautiful drink and delicious dessert. Food for an eye and fill my Sweet tooth as well. The Donut texture are great, Soft and chewy, Topping are tasty. The puff also very very nice. Can’t wait to go back and try more.

My husband and I prefer trying new places, but we loved this spot so much that we came back a second time on our recent NYC visit.

We tried:
– Cereal Donut
– Taro Munchkins
– Brown Sugar Boba Cream Puff
– Yuzu Cream Puff
– Milk Tea Boba Cream Puff
– Yuzu Detox Lemonade
– Passion Fruit Green Tea
– Lychee Rose

My favorite things were the Cereal Donut, Brown Sugar Boba Cream Puff, Yuzu Cream Puff, and Passion Fruit Green Tea.

I love mochi donuts and theirs are no exception. These are by far the best cream puffs I’ve ever had. I’d happily come back again!

Court Fuji

I bought two boxes. One for myself and one for a friend. It was disappointing considering how hyped up this spot is. It Literally just tastes like flavored heavy cream and no custard.I recommend other spots like bearded papa and bubble and sip.
I do want to try their donuts. Hopefully that’s redeeming.

Great spot for a beautiful looking and delicious tea drink! They also serve mochi donuts and cream puffs. I tried the butterfly pea flower drink with mini Boba and the brown sugar Boba cream puff. The drink was the perfect amount of sweet and the cream puff was a great light dessert. You can order easily through the kiosk which offers a lot of options for easy drink customization.

Today was our first time here and I definitely don’t regret coming, can’t wait to come back!

What I liked about this place is that is not just that everything is beautiful here but it’s also delicious AND good prices! I feel that there’s a ton of “instagramable” food/dessert places that are terrible in terms of flavor that are also overpriced.
But here they have the three GOOD design, prices and flavor!

This is what we had and recommend trying:
• Taro munchkins, 8 pieces of warm mochi dough, soft on inside and somehow lil crunchy on outside, the fine dusty coat of the outside is super light and delicious too.
• Cereal mochi doughnut, 1 piece, with milk glaze and cereal flakes on top, the dough is also super soft and chewy. The flavor of this doughnut is LITERALLY like eating cereal like the milk having the flavor of the cereal.
• Brown sugar boba cream puff, 1 piece, is a choux pastry with a airy creamy filling and soft bobas. The choux is super well made and the bobas aren’t hard to chew like in other places these were on point.
• Passion fruit green tea with mini bobas instead of the aiyu jelly, the flavor of the tea was super well balanced with the passion fruit juice. The sweetness was just right as we ordered (they give you the option to make it sweeter, just right or unsweetened).

Everything was around $20 in total which is good because we had 3 different pastries + a drink.

I’ll definitely come back and don’t hesitate to try this beautiful and delicious place!

The service was excellent! My step son has a nut allergy and they made sure to put the donuts in separate bags that had nuts on them. The prices are a bit high for the donuts, but they were decent. Nothing to rave about but I’m glad we tried them.

Very visually beautiful drinks with vibrant colors. Taste good too, more unique than other bubble tea places. Crowded but the drinks come out fast

2/4/22: Had the Turmeric Spiced Chai with milk, served hot. Was an interesting novelty but wouldn’t order again. 12/12/21: Had a cream puff and I think the Signature Milk Tea which were both great.
