Best donuts in the Milwaukee area. If you’re going to a store or a market to get some, go early, they will sell out.

It’s so nice to have a good donut place nearby – it had been lacking. While they only have a tiny store, you. May need to wait in line, and it’s possible they sold out before you got there – it’s totally worth it. Fantastic donuts, especially the old fashioned ones.

I love these donuts! The homemade breakfast sandwiches are delicious also. Friendly customer service. I am disappointed by one thing (3 stars) because today when I visited, the person behind the counter picked up the donut I had chosen with his hands (no gloves) and put it in the bag. I asked “no gloves”? The other service person there said they have had a difficult time getting them. Ok, I understand that. However, why not use tongs to pick up the donuts?? Using hands forces the consumer to trust that the person touching the food has washed their hands before doing so and has not coughed or rubbed their nose – that is why the standard in food service is not touching food without gloves or a tongs (or other serving implement). The amount of diseases that can spread via hands is why this should be avoided in any setting that is selling or serving food. For instance, the person serving me was also handling raw eggs. Monster- please get on Amazon and order some tongs!

Donut Monster is a serious treat! Be it a custom donut or one of their incredibly delicious breakfast sandwiches, you will not be disappointed. By the way, they make their own english muffins, which are to die for. So, why are you still reading this review, get to donut monster already! 🙂

Food is tasty, but 3 of the last four times I was either given the wrong item or charged for something I didn’t order or get. It’s not like I come in during their rush and busy hours, either. I understand having an off day, but at this point I just think they need to work on their basic customer service skills

Donut Monster is a great addition to Whitefish Bay! Their donuts are fantastic but you must try their breakfast sandwiches with homemade English Muffins. Also their nitro Pilcrow coffee with oat milk is amazing. Highly recommend!

Awesome breakfast sandwiches and amazing donuts. Had I not eaten my donut so quickly, I might have had a picture to share! Great customer service too, will definitely be coming back. If you don’t live WF Bay like myself, it’s definitely worth the drive for a quick and tasty breakfast

More like english muffin monster! Look at the thickness of that, can never buy store bought again. I’m not a stuffed donut person, but theirs are my preferred over their normal cake/OG donuts.
PSA chocolate peanut butter buttercream NEEDS to be on the permanent menu.

Skip the donuts?
Arrived 10mins after opening on a Saturday morning. Two lines (cars & standing folks) – was 10th in the standing line. Orders taken equitably between the two. Took about 35mins total.
Ordered 6 donuts (chocolate buttercream filled, buttermilk OF with sprinkles, mixed berry cheesecake, salted chocolate, lemon curd OF, maple bacon) and the nitro cold brew special (honey & oat milk)
Really wanted to love these. The maple bacon and coffee were great, would order again (once the wait subsides). The rest of the donuts were not good. The old fashioned style are skinny, which looks different (artisanal!) but they were dense and dry-ish, flavors ranged from meh to inedible. The salted chocolate was inedible – bizarre not-chocolate-but-i-don’t-know-what taste. My husband, sons and I ended up not finishing them (unheard of).
The staff were efficient and kind, the storefront and logo are super appealing and local ingredients are what we’d all prefer…. but the donuts are disappointing. Seems like everyone is all about the sandwiches – will try those sometime.

The donuts are unique and outstanding, but don’t sleep on one of the best breakfast sandwiches in town. The English muffins are sublime. Great service as well.
