I am very picky about donuts and would have to say that thus far this place has THE best in Austin. More trendy places have crazy toppings but the donut base is terrible. Here its no frills, basic toppings but the donuts are FANTASTIC– glazed donut was tender, chewy, and not too covered with sugar glaze. Good size too. At 99cents each, probably the best deal in town.

If you appreciate a classic donut Combo Donuts is arguably the best in town and a top three I’ve had on my list. Their plain glazed donut is the best I’ve ever had. You might find other boutique & trendy donut shops in town that are receiving all the hype where they have $6 dollar donuts with all kinds of stuff going on with them, but Combo Donuts is a can’t miss stop for the ability to do the basics the best and at the best price.

Can’t believe how friendly and wonderful this family always is to see their guests. And then there’s the apple fritter with so much apple it’s considered more of a fruit than a donut, and the jalapeño kolaches with sweet bread, and the double chocolate donuts with the crispy bottoms illustrating that homemade feel?

Melt in your mouth. Seriously. These donuts are so fluffy and delicious. I love donuts. I love donuts so much that my wife and I had donuts at our wedding instead of cake. I wish we would’ve had THESE at our wedding!
We ordered regular glazed, chocolate glazed, and cream filled eclair. This is definitely my new donut spot.

Nothing about this donut shop looks particularly unique, but the reviews are true! They are some delicious, high-quality donuts! We ordered 1/2 a dozen and regret not ordering a dozen. Both cake and yeast donuts are light, flavorful and not overly sweet. We’re from out of town and wish we had donuts anything as close to as good as these nearby! Like others have pointed out. These donuts are not piled with extras. They are just superbly crafted delicious and simple donuts. The blueberry cake donut was especially unique. Just order a dozen, minimum.

I’ve been a customer for years! Great breakfast crossaint… apple fritters…kolaches…everything is made with care! Owners do it all, truly a family owned spot. When COVID hit, this couple did everything in their power to stay open and ensure customers where safe! Even tool curbside orders via phone. I will continue being q customer as they have never let me down on how consistent they are with the quality of their food and their service!
