This is the only 24 hour donut place in the Peninsula that has come to save us time after time. And because it is a local “run-down” joint next to a gas station, I think it doesn’t get the credit it deserves. The donuts are great. Not mind-blowing but handles 99%+ of all donut needs. We love their old-fashioned and donut cakes as they have a crispy text to it. The cinnamon sugar sprinkled as the blueberry infused ones are our favorites. Donuts are always made fresh and never have we ever had any issues with the quality. Oh, did I mention the true down-to-earth prices? Thank you for serving the community and please continue doing so.

Had a craving for donuts one day and decided to stop by to grab some on my way back home.
Bought a chocolate twist and some donut holes.
My stomach was not happy. I felt gross; I could feel a layer of oil/fat covering my mouth and lips.
The donuts definitely weren’t fresh, but it was about 5pm so I guess can’t really complain.

This is a cute local donut chain. I came by around noon looking for a strawberry donut as a post-workout treat. They were out of any strawberry donuts at the time. The lady at the counter suggested I come by earlier in the day since they have a wider selection in the mornings. I purchased a plain glazed donut to go. It was one of those very substantial, thick old-school donuts. It was a little bit on the drier side as the glaze was cracking off in chunks. For comparison, I ordered a similar glazed donut at Dunkin’ recently which felt more moist.

I get donuts for my office every week and they’re the best donuts we’ve tried out so far! Donuts are fluffy and fresh most of the time.

If you go early am like 6ish or 7 ish and the small little Asian lady that works there will always give u 1 or 2 free donuts for buying half dozen

Yes yes! The donuts here are amazing. Way better then Dunkin or any other of the sort. These are real west coast donuts. I’ve heard a European business wanted to hire the owner to teach them how to make donuts. He said no. Haaaaa. If you love donuts that aren’t messed with then go here.

It’s a donut shop! — the donuts are made fresh daily, and there’s good variety given the relatively small size of the shop.

A welcoming beacon shines on your map when you land on Chuck’s Donuts. It is small, cozy and a classic representation of the late 60’s mid 70′ south bay architectural style. Boulders contrast dark weathered redwood tile and paneling, slapped together with stucco.
The donuts are fresh, the coffee is decent, the service is friendly and genuinely enthusiastic.
The location is in desperate need of some infrastructure repair and the exterior is in want of some love and care. It is teetering between classic dilapidated.
I have high hopes for this location in the years to come. Unfortunately , one only has to look across the street to see the creeping modernised machine transforming and cleansing everything in its path to static uniformity.
