Cermak is the best produce place around bang for buck. If you go to Marianos or Jewel Osco, you’ll be paying 2x the price. I’m never disappointed. The staff is also amazing all around.

In the past Cermack foods on South Halsted had great veggies but know they are over watering and adding ice and the produce is spoiled on the shelves.

Fruit, veggies are fresh. The other food items are neatly stacked on the shelves and placed neatly on display. The cashiers are always friendly. The butchers are there to assist you.

Morning deli staff will ruin your experience enough to shop somewhere else. Deli staff is extremely rude and provides terrible customer service. Staff goes as far as to talk sh!t and bad mouth you right in front of you. Manager was informed on way out. Management has been informed of rude staff and poor customer service and did nothing.

Don’t like the food, fruits basically all bad once u get them or gets bad like the next day,seems like nothing is fresh there or expiration dates been altered or just bad old food

I love this market! Inexpensive veggies fruits meat and produces. The parking lot never slows down but you can always find a spot.
They have Mexican food, Asian food and even Asian snacks! If you take bus, there is a stop just in front of the store. They have restroom open without a key. Just FYI.
