VG was the dessert for my wedding. The donuts were as delicious as they were beautiful. I appreciate that they provided a gluten-free cookie option for some of our guests. They delivered the donuts for a small fee, which was nice. Communicating with VG leading up to our wedding was a breeze – and their staff were so friendly. I grew up eating VG Donuts, and it was so special to have them at my wedding.

We were so happy we chose VG Donut & Bakery for our wedding day! It was an amazing experience from the beginning of our initial conversation with Sara to the cake tasting and day of wedding! The cake was everything we could have expected and we received so many compliments from our guests! We also ordered donuts which were a huge hit. Sara was a true joy to work with as she was very responsive and quick to answer any questions. Would highly recommend to any couple getting married!

BEST bakery ever!! Firstly, their donuts are amazing. Secondly, VG’s catered my wedding cake. Their team was so kind and easy to work with. (Megan is delightful) My cake turned our beautifully and was delicious!

Picked up a few donuts for the soccer team. There’s a reason this place has long lines, and well worth the wait. Simple, traditional bagels done very well.

VG catered our wedding at the end of March and it was seriously amazing! We ordered a two-tier Chocolate Cake with Mocha Filling and a variety of donuts and they were all absolute perfection! All of our guests were in heaven and came up to me to ask where I got them from because they already wanted more! VG was so easy to work with and made everything seamless. Sara, the event manager, was so kind and really took great care of us. Thanks again, VG!!

Visiting the area during a thrift store trip, closed on Monday. Made a special trip on Tuesday morning and turns out it was a great move. I bought some cinnamon rolls to share with my group and they are amongst the best I’ve ever eaten. Soft, chewy,consistently cooked all the way through. Just the right ratio of glaze to cinnamon. Excellent, well done VG Donuts!

The most incredible donut shop and bakery in the entire San Diego area. I’ve been coming here since I was a child and it’s always been my favorite place to stop for a treat. I highly recommend visiting here. Everything that you order will be the best of its kind you’ve ever had- but I definitely suggest ordering a maple bar and an apple fritter! You will not be disappointed. VG’s is iconic!

I cannot recommend VG’s enough for your wedding day. The communication beforehand is clear and concise. The desserts are INCREDIBLE. One of my favorite bakeries in Southern California, and we were so happy to be able to have them for our wedding in La Jolla.

So delicious and fresh with fast and friendly service. One of the best donuts I ever tried in my life. Definitely worth the price. Prices are reasonable for the quality of donuts/ cakes you’re buying. Two thumbs up!
