Great little place that has, arguably, some of the best donuts around. It is also their weakness because the wait is usually long and won’t always have ready what you’d wanted. I guess the best bet is to just order ahead and don’t make random trips.

I’m a huge fan of Long’s donuts, and Tim’s bakery is almost 30 minutes from my house, and it is still worth the drive for just about the best donuts you’ll ever have. If you can get the donut holes while they’re still warm, you are in for a treat. This is the real deal, mom and pop, handmade from scratch donut place that you’re looking for. I have yet to have a donut that wasn’t perfect in it’s imperfection. Check the hours folks, because they close early and you don’t want to make the drive and miss out.

Left there empty-handed again this morning. Saw people leaving with four and five two dozen boxes. Good Donuts but so is Jack’s Donuts. Stood in line for 25 minutes for no reason. Love the donuts here but hate wasting time standing in line to be disappointed

I’m huge donut person! It’s my one weakness other than cheesecake and Tims is hands down the best I’ve had! I’ve tried Pana, Longs, Sunrise, Goods, Krispy Kreme, etc. and while they are all good, Tim’s tops them all! They have a great selection of specialty donuts and muffins which are all delicious, but for me the good ol glazed yeast and those amazing donut holes are all you need!
On top of the great selection and quality of donuts the staff and owner are incredibly nice! Even when they are swamped they keep a great attitude and the line moves super smoothly! If you haven’t gone in I highly highly recommend it!

I am not a big donut fan in general, but wow! Tim’s donuts are sooo good! We are moving up to Fishers soon, but we will definitely drive back for some donuts!

Though I stood in line over 20 minutes, it was definitely worth the wait. Though they’re known for their yeast donuts, I’m more of a cake girl and their cherry cake donut was It tasted too good with my Sweet Italian Cream coffee. And tomorrow’s treat is the Apple Cinnamon muffin that’s as big as your head Can’t wait

Wow! I can’t believe how long we’ve lived nearby and have been missing out! You can watch the donuts being made fresh as you wait to place your order. The donuts were absolutely delicious – not too sweet and melt in your mouth. The best donuts I’ve had in Indy!

My doughnut review:
dough – light and airy, yet comes together nicely after being moistened by the palette. Not so airy that it feels like I have been jipped of a proper taste or that I was tricked by a mouthful of nothing. Not so dense that it feels like I am chewing a steak (I have had that before)…no, it tastes like a treat from the heavens
glaze/frosting – sweet but cloying, no chalky after taste, thickness of the coating is perfect…the icing is incorporated into the flavor of the donut instead of dominating as two separate flavors
Overall – best donut I have in Indy… and probably all around best
