The donuts are more on the bread side and are not very sweet. The kolaches have the hardest sausage and the worst flavor. Couldn’t recommend this place even to my worst enemies

Recently used The Donut Hole for a large purchase of 15 dozen donuts and they made everything so easy! The manager was excellent with communication and the donuts were ready and waiting at our scheduled pick up time. They were fresh and delicious and their employee even helped me load them in my car. A+!

Delicious fresh donuts. Stopped after reading the reviews and my 13 year old was craving a The Donut Hole. Glad google pointed us here. We got here at 1130 in the morning and there was still a good selection. We all got something different and all of them delicious. My favorite was the chocolate cake The Donut Hole with chocolate frosting and peanuts. A lot less money than the chain shops. Nothing better than supporting local and enjoying the banter with the friendly owner and his delicious donuts.

Stopped by on the way home to New Braunfels, stocked up on delicious snacks and coffee! You can tell they’re about the community with sweet pictures posted up. Gentleman working at the front was the sweetest! Definitely beats any corporate owned shop 🙂

Good donuts and kolaches. Staff is a bit unpolished, and I’ve been left at the counter waiting for someone to come back and serve. Prices are good, and is probably you’re best option in this part of the neighborhood, but they could easily be one-upped by a better ran shop.

The store is decorated wonderfully by a local artist.
To top it off, you get to watch as your delicious treats are made right in front of you. Definitely the best breakfast spot in Lakeway.

Got 3 sausage and cheese kolaches and couldn’t even finish them. The sausage was barely cooked and still very tough, while the dough was very mushy inside. For almost $3 each, not worth it. Hopefully this was just a bad batch and not the norm.

Frequently out of glazed donuts. Third time in a row I’ve come before 9am and was told that they’re out of glazed donuts. Have never experienced this at Shipley’s and would recommend them instead.

For a place called the donut hole, the donut holes were very subpar and almost had a little bit of the burnt taste to them. I also had a chocolate donut with sprinkles and that one was very good, it was very fluffy and fresh.
