What a cute store front! And the treats are gorgeous! Husband loved the cookies and cream cupcake. And all the sugar cookies were so pretty, we got 3 (one gluten free, can’t wait to try it). Hopefully the no-bake will be as good as homemade. But I’m at my sugar full halfway through one sugar cookie, yum!

Step inside Sweet Frostings and you’re immediately on a magic frostings ride, surrounded by soft pastel colors from every case and corner. Even the La Marzocco espresso machine exudes happiness. Beyond its playful interior is a serious bake shop that puts out goodies that will dazzle tastebuds. Even your vegan friends have options, as well as gluten free. Service is friendly and down to earth but just try and keep your feet on the ground in this place – it’s impossibly good!

Sweet Frostings absolutely NAILED my nieces birthday cake! Not only did they replicate what she wanted perfectly but they made it even better than the sample photo she wanted. Having her party this evening and I don’t think she’s gonna let anyone cut into it
This is the only place to go to get your cake for any occasion if you want both excellent quality and a gorgeous cake ❤️ can’t wait to see what they make for my other nieces birthday in a few weeks!

Sweet Frostings has provided cake and cupcakes for a variety of my life events, both personal and corporate. I can say without hesitation that their food is amazingly tasty and beautifully made. I’ve never encountered anything but cheerful, friendly professionalism in their staff.

My only request of them would be to please, please, PLEASE for the love of all that’s yummy, put a printable list of your cupcakes with pictures on the website. You’ve got pictures and descriptions and they’re great, but I can’t print them out for team events, and it would be so nice if I could provide that information to my people.

I was greatly disappointed when I ordered “custom” cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday. I asked for them to be decorated to look like Torontos, as the theme of her party. I paid extra for 2 colors to be added.

What I received was a basic cupcakes with a basic frosting swirl, nothing extra. They where just plain old cupcakes with a SEVERE lack of creativity. The packaging was not good either, one bump in the road and they all toppled over. For 36 cupcakes I paid $215 plus a $27 tip at the time I ordered. For the hype this place gets, I’m not impressed..at all. Especially for the amount of money I paid.

I recommend going to Safeway, they’re just as good, more effort is put into decorating and they’re packaged better for travel.

I won’t be supporting this business in the future.

We called in January to book Sweet Frostings for our wedding which is in August. The gal on the phone took down our order and deposit over the phone and said that we could discuss flavors at the tasting consultation. She told us that there was no need to book an appointment to do the tasting and that we could come in whenever.

Fast forward to yesterday, we called ahead to let the shop know that we were coming down to do our tasting. The woman on the phone seem confused but told us to come down anyways. When we arrived the woman at the counter acted as though they had no idea who we were. We told her that we had booked them over the phone in January and paid half of our deposit. It wasn’t until we showed them the charge from our bank statement that they were able to find the order. It turns out that the woman at the counter was the one who helped us over the phone. She really didn’t take any ownership for the situation. Instead she sort of shifted the blame to us and said we ordered in a weird way.

After the order was found she kept asking us if we were just there to pay the second half of our deposit. We explained to her several times that all we had done was pay, we hadn’t discussed flavors which is why we were there, to do a taste test. Despite trying to be as clear as possible, we were ultimately not given the opportunity to taste any of their products. Instead, we kind of just blindly picked flavors that sounded good. If we weren’t so close to the wedding I would have considered going to another shop.

I’m not the type of person to typically post a review like this, however, doing the desert taste test was something we were excited about and it ended up being more frustrating than anything. It could have been the staff was just having an off day so I will be happy to adjust my review based on the finished product on our wedding day.

Update: We opted to go with a different bakery

Good cupcakes but overpriced. We had 3 cupcakes and 3 macarons and it was $28 . The salted caramel macaron was delicious…lemon and birthday cake were just okay. Had I paid attention to the menu at all I wouldn’t have ordered any of them at $3.50 a pop! Onto the cupcakes…again, salted caramel was the standout. It was a true caramel flavor and delicious chocolate cake. The carrot cake cupcake was okay but not great. And the cookie dough one was pretty good but not even close to the salted caramel. I loved the decor! But the chairs and bench seating were both terribly uncomfortable. Not a place I wanted to sit and enjoy my treats. Which was a bummer because as I said, the shop itself is lovely.

I ordered cupcakes for my sister-in-law’s birthday, they are pricey, but worth it. The flavors were spot on and we enjoyed them very much. I will be ordering from here for birthdays and special occasions from now on.

I’m surprised by how mediocre the cupcakes are at Sweet Frostings Blissful Bakeshop, especially with how expensive the place is. My daughter loves it because it’s cute- but the cupcakes are small and dry, $5 a piece, and don’t taste as good as the ones I make from a box of cake mix. How they manage to stay in business is a mystery to me.

I had them cater my wedding and was rather disappointed. I was really excited because I typically love their cupcakes but ours turned out dry and they all looked so sad. For over $5 a cupcake you’d expect perfection.
